I love Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Country 2 so much.

I wish I didn't break my super nintendo so I could keep playing them. It's just not the same on the DS or the wii. Or an emulator.

The music and game play is amazing.

I FREAKING LOVE DONKEY KONG COUNTRY!

I had it on SNES, then I lent it out and the guy never returned it and moved away.

I remember paying $99 for that game when it was brand spanking new! Haha, still costs $20 these days because its so old and nearly antique.

I love all the donkey Kong Games actually.. and Mario!!

I keep looking around for a cheap ass SNES so I can buy it and get all those cool old games.

That WAS such a great game. I actually loved all SNES games... their simplicity. Now games on XBOX and PS3 are just so much more complicated that I find it less and less entertaining to play. Luckily, I kept my SNES and still play it from time to time :yup:

:) I played Donkey Kong last night on my Wii with my sister. The game is a lot of fun with two players. But the levels where you have to shoot yourself out of barrels at the exact right moment are so frustrating.

Yea I agree with you Kangaroos a lot of the video games today are so complicated they just wind up being boring to me. Like I would get stuck on Final Fantasy 10 and just stop playing. I hate puzzles though lol and that game had a lot. And now my ps2 is broken so I can never play it again yippee.

Bahahaha, I remember playing FFX! Those little stupid puzzle things, the temple ones to get aeons. Those were really always such an annoyance, I hated it. I remember I would have to look online on how to solve those damn puzzles because I was just too lazy to do the whole trial and error thing. Really, those parts were horribly boring.

I haven't played DK on the wii yet, I kinda wanna try  I've always been a fan of those games so I'm sure I'll like it.

I tried playing Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time when I was young and couldn't figure out how to solve any dungeons after the first one. <_< How do people figure out these things?

OMG YES!! FFX and those damn puzzles! they did my head in! I got X-2 because I have to admit I loved the storyline! And fell in love with the characters. However, I wanteed to get 100% first time round on X-2 and was going to follow a guide. I kept missing a small point and began to start again... I never did finish it because I lost interest :p (think the furthest I got was the ship, where you fight that dragon!!)

Bahaha played DKC again and omg the Mine Cart Madness level.. wow!!!! It's so hard but then again there's that secret in the beginning of the level that you can just jump into and it takes you to the end... but using that is lame! It takes skills to get through by yourself.

Ugggghhh, I got X-2 too cause I liked FFX. I also tried to get 100% just to see the damn cutscene at the end or whatever. I was actually given the guide book thing when I got the game (because it was a gift). And I have never been able to ever get 100%. Some of the smallest dumbest dumbest things gave you a fraction of a percent which you needed. >:) It was so annoying. I feel like I try again every other year or so but everytime I try I just fail fail fail or get annoyed and quit.

I remember that one! It's actually my one of my favorite levels. I would play that one over and over again just because it was different from the rest of the levels.

I'm a guy but I loved Tidus and Yuna's love story.

That pretty much gave me the drive to get to 100% on X-2. Still, X was heaps better and one of the greatest games ever. Just the starting scene and music already had me. :O
