So last night we wanted to go clubbing here in Copenhagen so 4 friends came to visit me (we wanted to start here before going anywhere, people wanted to see my new apartment, catching up etc)
One of them came in her boyfriends car and really. she is a horrible driver. And for some reason she really wanted to go by car into the heart of copenhagen (which is like 10min by bus from me, so kind of stupid o.o) But itt was raining like crazy so wth.
She then convinced another girl to drive her boyfriends car because she wanted to drink herself. Line (the friend who should drive) was like; okay, fine. but it has been a long time since she has driven manual, she did it anyway.

    BUT THE STORY:
we stopped at a gas station for directions. I then go back to the car, and my friend drives. We're all a little tipsy except Line the driver ofc. I then go: OKAY PUT YOUR SEATBELTS ON EVERYONE! mostly just for fun, but I am kind of obsessive with the seat belts. Mille , the girl sitting next to me is like: meh, hell to the no! because she was too lazy or something. Me and Line then put the seatbelts on.
1 or 2 minutes later I just hear someone scream and next thing I know a car hits the side right where I am sitting. Like, litterally I have the front of the car in my side. All I can feel is extreme pain right in the beginning, then I feel nothing. I start to freak out and panic and everything because I start thinking I've become numb (I think that's the english word right?)
Smoke starts coming out of the car and everybody runs , I'm like: WHAT THE HELL GIRLS.
Luckily I get out pretty quickly. I have bad bruises and stuff on my leg and arm but nothing severe. Police said that if I had no seatbelt on + other car or us drove a bit faster, things would've looked very bad for me. And that I was VERY lucky. I am just in shock right now.
Poor galfriend loses her license and have to pay a huge bill. But the thing is that the lights didn't work when we came to the light stop, so she just drives. And she had to stop or something. Argh.

ANYWAY I AM OKAY BUT I FEEL LIKE SOMEONE IS WATCHING OVER ME. lol

    Yeah, I know right?
And the people who hit us were two people in like their 40s or something and all they cared about was their car and they kept yelling at line until she cried. Stupid people. Then the police came and told them off :p

Oh my god! That's one of my huge fears driving, I've had a couple close calls but no collisions like that. Thank god you're alright!

Glad you made it through okay. My mother just visited Copenhagen not a month ago to see Tivoli Gardens (she lives in New Jersey, USA) and she said, among other things, that driving was crazy over there. She said that pedestrians walk out on the street in front of cars whenever they damn well feel like it and you're just expected to stop and wait for them.

That's a relief! I hope you recover quickly. Did you get a seatbelt bruise?
Was Mille okay if she didn't wear a seat belt?

Strange that the traffic lights didn't work.

I come from a land down under! (Maaaate!)
Traffic lights not working = slow down and take caution.. however, if its dark and you dont know the roads it might be hard :(

Sucks that it happened.. but at least you're okay!!

And your beautifulness is still there!! (wow i sound so shallow!)

    D'awe <3 Thaaanks!

Dreamlorde; actually, Copenhagen isn't as crazy as all the other capitals I've been to =P And it wasn't really because she went really fast, it was just because of the dark I think. And that she wasn't too expierienced .. Did she like Tivoli? :'D

Commy; Um, yeah a small one, not too bad. And nothing happened to Mille, she was in the middle. So she just went a little to the right I think. Not too sure how it happened, but she had a few bruises too.

Junior; Yeah, I've also wondered why she didn't slow down or anything. I guess everything just went too fast.
    Aww. <3

I was just thinking this exact same thing..

    Glad to hear your ok!

I had a close call myself the other day. I was on my motorbike going straight through the lights and someone went through red lights turning!!

I came extremely close to getting cleaned up!
