Hey guys i had an idea and I need someone to test it for me I know that you can have two people on the same neopets account at the same time as long as your on seperate computers. A friend and I did this to beat neoquest quicker. But here's the idea what if you had say 1 million np on you and you and someone on a seperate computer tired to deposit it into the bank at the same time. Most likely one wouldn't work but there's still a chance that if you could time it right the np amount would be doubled seeing as it was sent twice. So can someone test this for me and see if it works or not. I would prefer someone with two computers on the same network that would be the best bet. Let me know if anything comes up guys and gals
Well, TNT would get really suspicious because you are on the same account in different IPs so that would probably result in ice. Umm, also, one of the IPs would probably be chained or what not. Especially, it will bring it out because you deposited at the same time...
True but you could use something very simple to hide your ip from them firefox itself has ip hiders that let you bypass things like the wait time on rapidshare so I'm sure using firefox and those add-ons it could at least be tested safely
You cant do that, your cookies sessions would expire, so you would both keep getting logged out i think.
correct IP hiders don't work like that. They can still tell that you're on the same IP unless you use the same proxy.
I thought he was talking about two people in two different places...wouldn't that be different? *PSP* Shouldn't this be in the Neopets section?
2 people on the same account will result in being iced intime I mean it states in the rules that only 1 person can have an account no sharing at all as well as if they see things happening at the same time that isn't humanly possible it will send up the red flags to them
Also, the way computers handle data regarding a file would necessitate whichever request was received first by the server to be processed prior to the second request on the file being processed. I.E. The second request is going to get a "You don't have enough neopoints to deposit!" in other words. Computer programming and operation is anything but organic =) (though I did have the same idea before I got into IT) Edit; And you definitely wouldn't want to try it on the same network; you'd get one request sent out with a delay behind the other. Perfect timing would be... difficult at best , when computers operate in a millisecond or better.
Well there is probability that this might happen. While being on the same network can help but there will issue of IP. Authorities can freeze your account in this case. Say that you succeeds doing this bypassing the IP issues using some tools. But still on closing the authorities will find the conflict and will be able to resolve it soon. MOD EDIT: Watchout for gravedigging.
