I come from a land down under! (Maaaate!)
I recently got sick of having a crappy stock set of speakers in my truck - So I've upgraded. And not only upgraded, but went a little crazy considering, and got entry level competition grade Focal Speakers. Still paying them off... then I can install :D

So now I want to make a few CD's up.

I'm into almost every style of music, yes including the odd classical piece :p

I want a dance/dubstep type CD and a rock/metal/punk style CD. (at least one... :D)

Preferably new stuff, does not need to be main stream.

I just found Downplay from a Youtube Video - they're going on the rock/metal/punk CD :p

I will plus rep to anyone that provides a song that I chose to keep and put on my CD. If I don't use your selection, don't take offence. Please try again :D

    EDIT:

To make it a tad easier, these are some of the bands/people/DJ's I enjoy (although lots of these are old...:p)

Good Charlotte, Sum41, Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, My Chemical Romance, Blink182, Linkin Park

DJ Tiesto, Uberjak'd (a mate of mine :D), David Guetta, Bore Gore, Skrillex, Calvin Harris

So if you can suggest any songs that sound like this, are from one of these guys that I may have not thought of etc.

    I'll post a playlist once sorted :)

I second Celldweller and Pendulum. Especially Pendulum. Though I imagine you might've heard of them since they're from Australia.

    TECHNO-Y STUFF

    Pendulum - Propane Nightmares

    Infected Mushroom - Becoming Insane

Exceed - Gotta Get Up (Gotta rep my hometown!) There's not much on his YouTube channel but here's his soundcloud which has a lot of tracks to download.

Also, I seriously recommend Asin/Ason Creatura (another local fave of mine). Can't find anything of his online, but if you're into heavy-trancey-clubby stuff then I'm more than willing to send you the CD of his that I have. I can't say enough good things about him. Really.

Going through them all now - and yes, I do listen to Pendulum - their albums already in my car :D

As for what I've seen above so far, THANK YOU! There will be plus reps, you put a bit of effort into those posts!

I've gotta start obtaining these MP3's in the next few days :D

Hahaha! Thank milkshake song reminds me of the old MXPX - 500miles cover song :D That was good too. Can't find the good version of it anywhere now though. I've got the mp3 still somewhere :D

You're welcome. Thank Lizard, though - don't think I'd have been as thorough if I hadn't thought that post was a good idea. I'm so lazy. xD

I love MXPX! I'm such a sucker for cover songs, don't know why. I love the Punk Goes series, even though I wouldn't consider most of the bands on there to be "punk," but whatever.

Also I just realized I'd originally titled Goodnight Nurse's "My Only" as "Still Waiting." Guess I had Sum 41 on the brain. The songs sound a bit similar. Fixed it, anyway. :)
