    Super cold?
Well, if you go to Melbourne we'll have a top of 17.. but don't let that fool you. It'll start off at about 6, with a wind chill factor of -2.

And there are no fun things to do here :/ what are you, insane?

In Melbourne it's pretty cold, but in other states such as Queensland, it's warmer. You'll need wet weather clothes, and I'd pack a really warm jacket. But yeah, it's not going to be snowing here or anything, so maybe just Autumn clothes? It'll depend on which states you're travelling to.
You could go skiing in Melbourne, but the snow hasn't been great recently.
And Queensland has many of the theme parks, but Melbourne has some pretty good things to do. If you want to feed kangaroos, in Healseville Sanctuary you can do that, as well as look at other native animals.
With Ballarat Wildlife Park you can also feed the kangaroos, and nearby is a historical park, Sovereign Hill. Basically it's a theme town, where the theme is the goldrush in Australia in the 1800's.
If you like sight seeing, there's the Grampians, Otway Fly Tree-Top Walk, and of course the Great Ocean Road. There's probably others, but these ones are pretty nice.

But yeah, since I'm situated in Melbourne I can't tell you as much about the other states.
