What do you think, good idea or no? I have about 50ish in my SDB. Just take out your USABers Auction Snipers Money Tree grabbers and your golden. I got 12 for less than 5K!

I think its well worth it and lots of people have probally aready started.

    Here's the problem:

You inflate them to 50k. But nobody wants to buy them. Christmas isn't a sought after colour. Very few people actually use the brush.

You have a high supply, that you're trying to make smaller. That's great, but the demand is small.

You'll get them to 50k, then start to sell them off. In the competition of selling at the lowest price that will occur (because everyone wants to be lowest on wiz), they'll go cheaper again.

Yes it's a pretty good idea because I know some other forums are doing this also. Buy them while they're cheap and re-sell them later! :)

Not really. What matters in this case is the quantity!

We can do it even just for a while ;)

Yeah, I think as long as your buying them cheap. like 20K and below, which I have gotten with a USAB with people miss typing in the right number or just doing it purpose. Your going to get a profit even if you put it out at the going rate. Just dont buy any that are like 35K and you will make a profit.
Im starting to buy them now before everyone else makes the 40k + and higher

You guys are talking about two different things. It's one thing to buy them cheap because of the advent calendar, and then sell them at their normal rate, but that's not really inflating them, it's just taking advantage of a flooded market.
Inflating the brushes means you buy them at their normal rate of ~35k and keep buying so many that they become rarer and rise in price.
You're both right, because inflating them would not work well because they aren't rare or too desirable, but it is profitable to buy low and sell for the normal price.

They will go up eventually, people will start buying christmas pb's just because its the cheapest color you can get. It cant stay at 35k, but if you want to make the profit from one day to the other, it wont happen. I think they'll be back at 70k in 3-5 months.

Some people buy the paint brushes for the clothes, and well, for christmas gifts.

I think they will be about 40k on Christmas.

I have 100 ish trick o treat bags, that's my investment for now. ;p

I'm mad that the one day I'm not by a computer for the advent they give out the Xmas PB. What the heck. The inflation idea will definitely work if people hold on to them for a while, at least in like 6 months they will be back up again.

they will be back up to their original price of 75k in 3-5 months guaranteed. there have been many pbs that were tarla'd and dropped to less than half their original price, and were back up to their original price in about 2 months. christmas pb might take a little bit longer than 2 months, but they will make it back up to 75k. 35k is too cheap for a pb every "newb" will want one.

I do believe any PB's normally sell for a little more and there are some pets like the Pteri who looks kind of like a robin & the Zafara who looks like an Angel I can image players wanting at any time.

I'm going to invest in 5 or so but all I've been seeing them in the mall for right now is 34k & intend on picking up 3 or so... and then waiting. ;) Just a little investment for me and an experiment even though I've got close to 1mil now in the Bank. ;)

??? If I'm not mistaken...xmas PBs haven't been above 60k in over a year 0.o Why would it be 75k in 3-5 months?

They were ~70k before they were on the advent calendar.

I think its easier to inflate cheaper items in greater quanitites. you have to much to loose doing the more expensive items.

Omg I was using Snows usershop autobuyer and went to school. I came back and it had sniped 17 Christmas Paint Brushes for 1NP and over 20 for 5k or less!
