internet issues

    Yep, i'm not a computer person, anyway, i have a notebook laptop thingy. and i have internet, is it because of my main computers modem thing, or is it because of the pluggy thing(i think its called AC pwer) or something.

    Describe your problem more throughly :)

    I think it's the modem though i'm not sure :p

    I feel so dumb.

    I just wanted to know, if its the modem, then i have to move my laptop to another room.

    If its the AC power. then i'll have to move my desk.

    just uz i want better internet connection.

    The AC power just turns the laptop on /charges it
    The modem (yellow ethernet usually) is what provides the internet (Connects to your phoneline)

    So if your in the "zone" then you automatically get internet connection?

    If your internet is wired, then if your yellow cable is plugged in you'll get internet.
    if its wireless (you'll have a router box) then you have like a 50metre radius or something like that which you have to stay in.

    yeah, mines wireless. hurray!!

    i'm like 10 meters away and it says rreally low, soooooo???? maybe its that stinkin piece of wood infront of me and a wall. :D

    Hmm ill have a search tonight or someone like ricky can probs help more xD
    but theres a few ways to boost signal. but moving closer will 99% help your case :)
