I want to start back autobuying. I've quit and started about 100 times! Anyways, i dont want to get my brothers accounts frozen, and now i have internet at my home again! So here is a question. Lets say The current IP is: 12.123.11.1 (My brothers have been playing neo with this) If i restarted my modem and my IP changes to something like: 21.321.22.1 and cleared the cookies, created a fresh account, fresh e-mail.. would the accounts be linked in any way? and... after ABing, i would need to restart it again for them to play on with a different IP or what? If it helps any i have AT&T High Speed
Okay, well discussion of this involves the assumption that TNT will use logic when freezing people. Which instantly leads me to say that this entire discussion will end with a conclusion that bares no resemblance to what will actually happen when this is put into practice. The simple answer is that the accounts shouldn't be linked, because there is a new email, and new IP. However, they probably will be linked in some fashion, due to human error or the superpowered automated freezing system neopets has. Try it, and if it doesn't work, you'll only piss off your brother
Well assuming your brother logs on from the same IP address, then yes the accounts would be linked but if somehow he manages not to log on at your house, then in practice no the accounts would not be linked.
Me and my brother log on from the same IP address (we connect to the same wireless at home) and AB ALOT, he doesnt. What intrigues me is that I have had about 30 accounts frozen (shells and 4 mains) and his account has not gotten even a warning. What does this show?
They always managa to chain freeze me What im saying is. If i have a New IP, e-mail, and NO association with other accounts, i should be fine right? and whenever im done ABing, i change the IP again and not log on to the account for awhile
Theoretically, your account would not be connected in any way, but again, we are humans and it is nearly impossible. Also, is your brother going to have to change the IP every single time he wants to get on?
You also realize that most of the IPs are in a loop, right? It's kinda hard to explain: it's like a cycle. ABCD--ABCD, so it kinda goes back to the same IP after you use all the IPs that are open. (at least that's what happens with me)
when I used to AB, my sister had an account as well I was chain iced several times but her account would stay (we were on same wireless network) .. so I'm not exactly sure if it was just luck or actually legit
It is just luck, since I eventually got my little brothers account iced from ABing. Brother wasn't to happy either =P So good luck in the future since it will happen later on from experiencing it. ~parisdirt
