http://www.apple.com/iphone/ What do you think? Personally I think Apple didn't upgrade enough and there was so much more potential. (I'm probably still gonna get it anyway haha ) I think the 3.0 software update is really great but adding a new camera and processor and calling it a new iPhone kind of annoys me a little but Apple does it all the time.
Well I havnt tried anything else than the 3G, and it didnt really impress me THAT much. Maybe because I find it too big, I dont know. But I just bought it, so I guess I just have to try everything on it. The camera didnt impress me at all though - you cant record or anything D: I heard there was a 4G on the way?
Yeah...there's a rumor that the 4G might come out sometime this summer when the iPhone FW 3.0 comes out. I have the 3G...the only thing I don't like about it is the camera quality.
Darnit, I should've waited then xD Yeah, but it should have had MMS too though. And I can get the bluetooth to work, but I guess that's just me :b Oh, also the battery life is KILLING me. If I'm lucky, it last two days.. o0
uhmm I didn't impress me that much... but I was expecting that... what else should come besides a radio? Btw I think the search feature will be awesome...
the title might be misleading but its 3Gs not 3G's. the name of the phone is 3Gs like porsche cayman S haha. as in like: the 3Gs is the "iphone 4g" but they didnt really add anything and thats my point
Aaaah, I see xD I'm not really familiar with Apple Iphones/ipods, so I dont know that much about it :b
Sorry buddy, I still love you but calling the iPhone 3gs the "iPhone 4g" is just stupid ya know? This is the THIRD GENERATION. Overall, I'm happy with the upgraded camera and the quicker processor. If it's not broken, don't fix it you know?
i was just trying to make it easier for other people to understand i belive its from a misconception about what the 3g part stands for. there was some debate about what the new iphone would be called because it would also be the iphone 3g haha. but yeah 4g service doesnt exist yet
the $199 one has a better camera, a compass, and much faster/more battery efficient processor and yeah the battery life increase is substantial so go for it and you might as well get the newest version if you have an iphone 3g atm i wouldnt recommend buying it because not that much has changed but for people who have the original iphone (like me) or who are new for the iphone, the 3gs is pretty sweet haha
I was actually looking for a big change. I know this might sound weird, but maybe even a slider keyboard or something. I think a physical keyboard would be way cool. I hate 100% touch screen phones. :| I can't manage to get used to screens like the Dare where the screen compresses because I make too many mistakes. Also, where I live, it's super humid so sometimes I can't even text on phones like the iPhone or Storm with screens that sense heat. the humidity messes with the screen. so i need a phone with a physical keyboard. x_x
i have to say i would have LOVED a slide out keyboard. the iphone keyboard is ok but its waaaaaay too easy to miss a key and its hard to type without looking and stuff
I wouldn't get it if it had a slide-out keyboard .. That would look too clumsy, even though I too think that it's a bad keyboard. And I downloaded recording devices for my iphone 3G and it works great ^^ but I do miss a better battery though - my dad said he might buy me the 3GS and then keep the 3G for himself - I'm not sure though, it doesn't seem that impressing compared to the 3G
The G1 has pulled off a slide keyboard quite well. I think G1 is one of the best phones on the market at the moment, but T-Mobile doesn't get great service where I live, soo....
No way. The G1 is hideous. the design is horrible, the touch screen is gross and everything about that is just horrible.
