Seriously, is it? I mean, if your shop is like a size 3 or 4, rn't u allowed to fit in at least 15, 20 items? I don't understand why people make their shop like a size 30 or something then they have like 10 of items in stock when nobody buys it. I mean, unless I am desperate to get rid of my np, I would just expand my shop. But why not go to the auctions or trading post? That doesen't cost anything and you can get items offered + np in the trades and you can get people to bid + the price of your item in the auctions? Any1 agree with me? Seriously, though

People have big shops because they want more people to see it in the marketplace. And they have major inlfated prices on their items.

It costs a ton of neopoints. But it pays off in the end because I saw this one board where people were talking about their guild tills. One person had 1.208 mil in it because of their mall.

I actually never looked at it that way. I don't withdraw from my guild till because it is for my guild. We are up to 70,000 np because of donations nad stuff like that.

It does pay off eventually, but only if you got ton of np to spare originally.
Trades aren't very good options because few people bid on trades when they can just buy something off user's shops.

Neither did I. I used to think the same question. I was always like why do they spend tons of money on their shops? But I found it out by lurking on the boards.

Yeah, it is quicker and also the TP can only go up to 800k in nps. But auctions can be much higher. How high can auctions get to?

For size 500, I think it costs somewhere around 30 mil? I can't remember, but most people have bigger shops because they don't want to be bothered by having small shops and having to reprice items all the time.

30 mil!!!! WHOA!!! They could've used that money for at least some BD items or something! But I guess after awhile it pays itself off.

My account is 1 month old and I have got my shop upto a size 40 legitimately and I'm still going to keep expanding. The bigger your shop is, the more customers you will get as it is more likely to show up on the Shop Wizard. Also, having a wider range of items is good for business as if someone comes to purchase one item, they often end up buying another one or two or three.. I'm sure you see my point :)

So, in short, yes; I think it is worth expanding your shop ^_^

It's worth expanding your shop cause' you get to have a variety of items to sell.. xxx___ what you said is true.. But I don't think it'll display more on the Shop Wizard.. The shop Wizard refreshes or searches in username groups so it's unlikely that what you said is possible.. On top of that, people are going for the cheapest prices these days in Neopia so even if you have a large shop but your items are slightly above the market price, I don't think many people will come.. I've tried doing that once in a while people do come but more often than not, no sales are made..
