There'd probably be some complicated math formulas with the angle and power and such. But is it possible? Has anyone ever done it?

Maybe it's possible, I'm not sure. o3o Sounds possible..
You could probably get all the values you might need if you decode the .swf, so..

Very possible but there would be a few things of complex math and a color get on the power metter

You would need to reverse engineer the formulas they use, since I think its safe to say that the .swfs are all encrypted and obfuscated (But then again, have_flash.swf wasn't, I'll try going through one tomorow).

Its highly unlikely they are using a physically accurate formula, the coder probbably just threw something together that looks nice but doesn't follow any physical laws, so IMO it would be easier to code your own program that pretends to be the game than making a script to play it.
