is it safe to accept an account from a stranger?

    i was offered an account for free by a stranger, but im not sure if its safe to accept it...

    they neomailed me if i wanted it, but i was scared that since this was through neomail, i would get frozen for accepting it

    Why would he just give his account to a stranger? Seems weird. Don't accept unless you know you're absolutely safe.

    Right I totally forgot about that. That could possibly be his main reason. Sounds really scammish to me.

    Well if he gives you the password and everything, change the Email (providing he doesn't have a PIN) and then change the password.

    But you're right - dont say anything about accepting it over Neomails incase he reports you.

    What about that recent CG scare? He could have it on that account he's trying to give you.

    My advice would be to see if the person is truthful. Ask him a few questions (Won't name any) and if the answers seem a little iffy I think you should report the person (Use as last resort type thing)

    hmm, i dont see why he couldnt be legit. just make sure you cahnge ur email when you first get in!

    thanks for the advice, decided not to accept it and it seems he has gotten frozen: This account was attempting to scam other users out of items, Neopoints, Neopets, or their accounts.
