Is it worth it?

    I am deep in the avvie hunt lately and I have been searching for a lender of ZDAP, but to no avail. Is it worth it to just bite the bullet and buy it off the TP to get the 'Sneaky' avv?? I really have no use for it after the fact, but I can probably re-sell it (at a loss most likely)...
    thoughts on the matter are greatly appreciated :)

    What's your avatar count (approximately)? 'cause I remember getting a lender for ZDAP rather swiftly... I think I had 250+ avatars at that time. There are a lot of ZDAP lenders around, and it's really much easier to get lent that (as compared to BGC, Draik, etc.).

    Well... not sure about the demand for ZDAP (the item, not the avatar); I think you may make some loss there. But if this loss isn't too much for you, then just buy it. Saves all the trouble :p

    But! I think you just need to 'persevere'... keep pestering the AC, lol. Set up boards and chat, some lender's bound to notice you. I found a ZDAP lender quite swiftly back then, but then again, maybe it's because it's 'back then'... Neo since rather dead these days, so I think, yeah, it may be harder to find a lender .-.

    So, I think:
    1) Buy the ZDAP if you feel that the loss will not be too much for you and that you're confident of reselling it, or don't want to hang out at the AC anymore, lol xD
    2) Continue pestering the AC, and be friendly. Also, emphasise your 'perseverance', by saying things like, "Another attempt by [insert name here] to borrow ZDAP! (+ chat ;D)"

    My avvie count is only at 190, but I was lent Chokato and FQD for collat successfully so I am hoping someone will lend me ZDAP too...I guess I will keep hounding the boards for a bit longer :) if it gets to be a dead end I will just buy ;)

    Well I would suggest to make boards over and over again if you don't want to go through buying and selling.
    But I don't think you will have a loss if you sold the ZDAP. It's a high priced avatar item and the price hasn't changed much.

    Although you could loose some np out of it if you bought it expensive because there aren't many zdap sellers around.


    And it will help if you have full collat in ets, most lenders don't want to lend out through auctions because it takes a long time.


    And if those ways don't work you could always ask someone on Neofriends to lend you for collat or for free. I'm sure there is someone who lends zdap in Neofriends.
