So i'm purchasing a large some of np, and since i was just chain iced it's going to be on a an account that is very new because i'm starting over. It wouldn't be possible to make that sort of money on an account that was so new.

Will they look into it and ban me just for seeing that i couldn't possibly have htat much np yet?

I really believe that you go onto some sort of list once youve been chain iced, and TNT keeps a closer eye on your accounts.

I remember when I lost my first account due to a quest glitch. I had been secretly cheating under the radar for around a year, with no icings, ever. After that first chain icing, which wasnt even from illegitimate activity, I couldnt seem to keep an account alive for more than a few weeks, even though I was doing exactly the same things as before.

Once my IP address changed, the icings stopped. Maybe its just my experience, but they seem to watch your IP addres much closer once theyve caught you breaking the rules.

Then again, this was a while back... o_O

Well your account age won't really matter because can't they just go and see how you got the NPs? Or who you got them from? You could be switching mains and starting over, and transferring all of your NP over to the new account, so it wouldn't be that fishy... if you hadn't already been iced lol. I'm pretty sure they're going to have your IP under a magnifying glass for awhile so I'd just try to be careful and maybe do it slowly and not all at once.

As far as some kind of list....I dont think you are on some kind of list that they auto freeze. But they do IP ban you after awhile.

But if you buy a large sum on a Newbie account...of course it will seem suspicious, what kind of question is that! XD

The best thing to do would probably put it on at least a legit-ish looking account and then use it slowly as to make it look too suspicious.

It also depends on who you are buying from, how they got the NPs, how they were secured, etc.

That was my thought exactly! XD But yea, if you're going to buy NP in bulk, at least find a decent account to put them on... don't put it on any kind of newbie shell or you might have to kiss them goodbye soon.

What if i don't even spend the np for a while? Just like store it in the bank or something?

Will they really be like checking my accounts on this IP to see how many NP i have?

They may flag the trade or however you're planning on having them transferred into the account. Not necessarily look at the amount of NPs on your account, but if it's through the trading post or something it's going to leave a trail. Know what I mean?

Especially if you were recently iced. They are gonna see that and will just ice it right away.

A good majority comes down to how safe the NPs are in the first place.

If you store them in the bank it wont matter.
If they are illegit, tnt will look where they came from, and if anything looks fishy, they will take action.

Well i'm buying legit np. Does that matter?

Hm...maybe i should wait to buy them. How long do you think it would take for them to get off my case and not look AS suspicious?

Or should i buy a shell account to put them on?

    Legit nps huh?

Hmmm, I think pure nps would definitely be risky. Probably a much safer bet to buy as ets.

Hard to say, how hard were you iced? Like they iced one account or they went to great means to track you down and ice all your stuff? XD

Lol hardcore SSing on many accounts.

I found what they did though was ice every account linked to my IP for the reason of "cheating on flash games" even if the account never cheated or wasn't involved.

I'd probably buy an aged shell.. maybe pay a little extra to get one that's got some avvies/trophies etc on it, and then store them on that account for awhile before trying to use them. And I agree with royalty, you should try to get them converted to ETS items and transfer them over that way.

And yea.. that's called chain-freezing.. they only look at the IP when they see things illegit happening :p

I can use my father's paypal for one transaction because i thought up a good lie for that, so i need to buy the shell from the same person i'm buying the np from.

If you could sell me 20m legit NP for $60 and then a shell for cheap too then i would. Right now i know someone that can sell me the np for that price and he probably has shells too, but he's not on right now and hasn't responded to anything yet so nothing is official.

I know the person that you're planning to buy the NPs from and I think he might have a shell/account that he could include with his trade... and if not he can probably help you figure out how to get one or the best way to do this. Just be patient, he's on multiple times a day ;)

I know, there's no need to buy right now anyways. I'm just seeing my options, but actually he was going to sell me 20m NOT legit for $60. I found another member willing to do legit for that price. So i'll have him a chance to match that and if he doesn't want to i'll have to take the better deal.

When you buy "legit" you should always ask if they will offer you some sort of refund.

With illegit I am usually slack with the refund because you know the risk, etc.

But with legit, they are saying they earned it themselves and the risk should be low. So if its iced I think some sort of refund should be in order.

    Just be careful :)

Man, I got over 100 accounts chain iced before. I hope they don't keep that close of an eye on me lol.
