Since a battle plot is coming soon(hopefully....), I was thinking if buying a species freezer(lenny) is worth it ,rather than saving up and get a gbomb.
Bombs still aren't too expensive. If you can't afford a gbomb, then a honey potion is still good value for money. And if your pet is really weak, and your weapons are bad, you still won't get very far with a freezer. If you have high enough levels, get the ability sink and burrow. They're good to reduce most damage types.
All plot related battles are 1p, so, a 100% freezer gives you a full turn of no damage against you and max damage against your opponent. While a Gbomb requires tactics to use, eg use straight away + defend + fierce attack etc All in all it comes down to preference, knowledge of the battledome and what type of enemies come out of the plot. Right now though, i'd suggest a freezer, if plot enemies do come out, freezers will sky rocket, Gbomb will stay the same price
Neither will inflate if there is a war or not. They are capped by the hidden tower price. Gbomb will never increase unless its retired, while freezing weapons are capped by the magical marbles. The lenny freezers will inflate though.
As the enemies get tougher, you're more likely to win with a bomb, which will do more damage. If you have a freezer, and you don't have strong weapons, you'll reach a limit that is lower than if you had bombs. I'd just invest in a snow globe staff which has an approximately 1/5 chance of freezing your opponent. Either that or use the ability freezing gaze/diamond dust, which has a 1/10 chance of freezing. Because it is 1p, you can use the snow globe staff/freezing gaze/ diamond dust in the first round coupled with a shield/downsize!/burrow/sink. If you don't freeze in the first round, get out of the battle by visiting the status page, then heal up by defeating inflatable balthazar. Repeat until you do get a freeze in the first round. Tedious, yes. But you'll get further that way eventually. If you use that tactic, you can have a freezer as well as a bomb.
I disagree. With a bomb, you do a little bit more damage, but you also take a lot more damage, especially if the 1p opponent has become really strong (then you'll just end up with a lot of draws/loses). With a freeze, you can prevent the 1p opponent from healing (if they have a healer), and also protect yourself. You take a lot of the randomness out of the battle when you use a freezer (stronger 1p opponents can hold a tear or full healer, and use them multiple times). If your good enough to afford weapons this expensive, when you get to the point that the enemy is stronger than you, chances are they will surely have either a full healer, a full blocker, or both. Not sure what your other two main weapons are, but the total damage with a freezer will be more than with a bomb anyways, plus you'll receive less damage. Most likely if your looking to be a gbomb, your other two weapons will add up to more than what the gbomb can do by itself, so freezer + main + defend, then main + main + bezerk does more damage than main+ bomb + berzerk (or whatever stance) and also receives a whole lot less damage With low lvl enemies, using a variable freezer would work well, if you dont feeze, quit and come back like commy said. But with tough opponents, I would rather use burrow, then sink, then freeze the enemy when they dont have much health left so i can just finish them off. i hate freezing at the beginning unless you are certain you can kill them in 1-2 more rounds because they will always heal right afterwards.
We don't know what stats sennheiser's pet has. Unless your hp is high enough, it isn't worth it to go past low level battling. With the lower tier enemies, that tactic should be enough to max them out in terms of points for the plot. If you're using that tactic, that'd also work with a cheap freezer/mean gaze + Shield/downsize! + defend/sink/burrow, then main + bomb + berserk. I'm not saying to use a bomb with berserk, without at least some form of defence or faerie ability. It'd be crazy to do that in the higher levels, as using berserk increases the damage taken. For your higher tiered enemies, unless your stats are high enough, you won't last long enough to use a 100% freeze in the last stages. Burrow and Sink only block damage for 2 rounds, and unless you combine them with shields you're going to have to be wary of the icons the abilities don't block. But if you can last long enough to use the freezer later in the game, that'll be of huge benefit. If I'm trying to max out an opponent, I'll use mean gaze to freeze them in the first round then my MMoM later on. You can prevent them from healing, but you can't predict when they'll heal themselves with 100% certainty. If you happen to freeze on the turn they fully heal themselves, that's nearly as good as just freezing them on the first turn. Except your health may be lower. As for the higher level plot enemies, they normally have a freezer + healer, so unless you have a good set to back you up (which it doesn't sound like sennheiser has), with the hp to withstand an attack if you didn't manage to freeze on the turn they have, you'll be in a lot of trouble. For low levels, I think a gbomb is more useful as you can just use a cheap freezer. For higher levels however, a freezer is more useful as you'll be able to afford weapons like KBT or SoS, which in the long run are good against enemies with 500+ hp. It all depends where you're pet is at in terms of stats and your set.
I'm sort of mid-low. My pet has all stats even around 85, exception of movement. I have burrow plus sink and even drain. I have downsize as my main side defence. My main weapons are BoD + Ramtor's book. So I tested my max damage against punching bag, and I got around 90 with fierce attack. So my max dam, at the moment, will be around 100 with berserk. With my pet, is it better to get a freezer, than getting a Honey or Gbomb?
At your level you'll easily be able to max out the bottom wave of enemies. http://idb.finalhit.org/challengers Scroll to the bottom, and look at the plot challengers. You should get an idea of what difficulty this plot will release. Have a go fighting the enemies of that difficulty with the normal battledome challengers. First use the Snow Globe first round freeze tactic (buy a snow globe staff, you can sell it for the same price afterwards). If you think you can get further against that difficulty level with a cheap freezer, go for it. But if you're having difficulty or you're finding it too boring, then go with a freezer. If you do go with the ELL, you still have enough money to buy a honey potion. They're only about 800k on the TP.
haha, I'm loving the freezer <3. But I'm broke now, and I don't have enough to afford honey potion :/.
ooorr.... you could just morph to lupe and use the ancient lupe wand. It breaks but its a cheap little freezer.
