Jailbreaking Fail/Rant

    1. Sigh why can't I just be good at programming...Forgot to make a backup of my stringboard.strings file now all the buttons say things like "REMOVE_APP"

    2. Winterboard theme is not working although the compiler says no problems and I checked everything out, will be so mad if it is just a semicolon out of place.

    3. Cydia takes too long to load/keeps crashing randomly, might have failed at jailbreaking as well and I heard if you jailbreak with greenpoison it drains battery life.

    4. Need MORE GBs, running out of space quickly system wise as well as physical memory

    5. SSHing into your iphone is not a good idea if you have no idea what you are doing (me)

    6. Might have to restore and spend a whole day re-installing all the apps I had and configuring the settings.

    If someone else feels my pain and or has been there please let me know so I can get a shimmer of happiness that I am not the only one <3

    I jailbroke mine, but quickly regretted it. Basically, if you bought any apps, you should be able to download them again without an extra cost (just with your apple id). I had to restore mine, think I spent around a day turning on/off o.o I thought I'd ruined it :p But don't worry, it'll probably work. I let mine "rest" over night and tried again, then it worked :)

    And I also had major problems with winterboard. I have a 4 btw, don't know if you have the same?

    I have a 4g as well but its messed up because of the retina display + winterboard. Hahaha I know I feel so bad for my phone that it has to forget everything and re-learn it. Like amnesia.



    GRRR I used to have an android, was so much better IMO but the iphone looks so sleek/$exy and is so beautiful.

    That sucks -_-


    I bought a nook color, rooted it to run honeycomb, it bricked, but I was able to get it back up again. Now its my lil $250 tablet pc :)
