it's fun when you complete games =)... i really dont care if the people are nice or mean as long as they dont quit.. the prizes are more than enough to make me endure the long games
I wouldn't consider it 'fun'. The system requirements for that game are massive.. I'm running a quad core processor with 4GB of RAM and it's still hella slow for me
ive won a starry pb from it. and lots of codestones and some maps. its worth the lag. i do wish they'd add an ultra low version for it, like the others said it lags alot.
key quest gets boring really fast it wont really be fun if you're over 16.., but if you relaly want some ez money then its good
Yeah, I agree. Keyquest gets reaaaaaaaally boring, especially with the massive lag. I think there are better alternatives in terms of fun factor or money factor anyways.
I wish I got more than junk from it. I do get the occasional codestone, but nothing better than that (even though I mostly have gold/silver keys). I don't find it lags too horribly. Maybe I just don't notice... It certainly lost its "fun" appeal after the first few times I played it, though. I'm glad they're adding new boards and such to it...
I find it's fun except for when loser quit on you to stop you from winning. That irritates me to no end. I usually play it to win neggs and codestones. Occasionally I'll get a wearable worth something, but usually not so much. I have yet to win a paint brush though. It is demanding on my computer sometimes, and I by no means have a slow computer. My computer run Oblivion and Crysis on on high settings with no lag whatsoever, but this game seems to make it want to bug out..
I like keyquest, but you are right about the lag. It is rough. As for quitters, I rarely play with people I don't know. I usually play with neofriends who I know won't quit on me.
It's alright - bit laggy like you say but alright for the prizes. I don't 'enjoy' it but it gives you god results... Havn't had any quitters just yet - hope that continues..... Only stated playing today and have won around 5 codestones, 3 neggs and a bunch of other worthless crap.... Still crosing my fingers for a paintbrush but I doubt I'm gonna get one so early in....
how much nps do you earn by playing it? are the items worth more than the amount of nps you would earn by playing games in the same time?
I usually average around 2,000nps per game regardless of if I win or not. And how many items you get depends on what place you come in. 1st-Gold Key 4 Reward Items 2nd-Silver Key 3 Reward Items 3rd-Bronze Key 2 Reward Items 4th-Lead Key 1 Reward Item The reward items range is drastic. Anything from 1np furniture and stamps. To neggs of all kind like basic, icy, super icy, lime/lemon swirly, scrambled rainbow, and speckled. Also all codestones, regular and red are up for grabs. Then there the big daddy of them all the paint brushes which are up from grabs. All the paint brushes handed out are buyable, but still some of them are worth 95k. You're only allowed to cash in 10 keys per day though to limit the influx of neopoints and items. I personally think the game is worth the time it takes to play. But I know many others with a completely opposite opinion.
I wouldn't say keyquest is fun... it gives out some pretty good prizes occasionally, but I find it gets boring very quickly. I've pretty much stopped playing because to many people quit in the middle of games.
I really enjoy playing games like Mario Party, and if you do to then I think you would like this game. That's the best connection I can make. You go around on the board and there are random activities that happen, you go to collect your keys ( stars for Mario Party ) and in the mix are mini games. The mini games are mostly fun, but still simple enough for everyone play. I've played a lot and I've found as long as you don't play in the "Newbies" section of KeyQuest you won't get too many people to just drop out because they are going to lose. Most of the other players recognize there are still good prizes for 2nd plus the ones in the non-Newbies section generally enjoy playing more and won't quit. That is just my experience though.
I hate when people skip their turn, or quit when I am about to win. They earn a spot on my block list after that
