Ok I just made this

Using goncalo's tutorial

I use paint.net

Comments?

and anyone else is free to use it too if they are a krawk supporter in the Altador cup



Plus... Seriously... I can't figure out how to make a border in Paint.net

anyone have a clue... it would look MUCH nicer with a border. and I couldnt download the font given in goncalo's tut because it is not a true type font and paint.net only uses true type fonts

I GOT IT!!! Which is better... White or black border?

 

its good i will give it an 8.5/10 because the bg is kinda all grey and a little boring. i think its best with the black border

Nice. 8/10. I have to agree with billy_bob_joe about the BG being a bit boring but other than that it looks nice. Oh and I like it better with the black border.

 

I think it could use some red stripes in the background to better represent the team colors. Extra points to you for picking the right team for the cup

And if you can be asked to, try changing the grey background to another piratish image and blur it a bit, so it still focuses on the krawk island flag ^^

ok... I made it with a background... I can't really make the text stand out readable enough....

Suggestions???

 

Yea that background could be nice, but try adding the background at the left side of the flag too and if you're using photoshop, try Overlaying the text layer and add it a stroke of 1 pixel. That way should be fine.
It's cool as it is though.

 

Would the writing work better in black or white? I don't know much about these, but I think it might make a difference if the font colour was different. But I like it as it is, but as I am not supporting them, I will not be using it.
