[LE] Castle of Eliv Thade champion, with pictures!

Introduction

The fastest way to secure Castle of Eliv Thade Champion is probably to obtain a score of 2199 within the first 3 hours on the first day of the month. This guide will demonstrate the method to obtain that score without panicking close to the end of the game.


Steps

1. To start, open http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=230 in a new window and http://anagram.awardspace.com/ in another window.

2. Resize the windows until you get the same as the below image.



3. Start the "Super Brave (hard)" mode. Follow the path taken below and use the anagram to solve the words. The alternate steps are marked with different colour crosses. (For example, if there are 3 red consecutive crosses, you move 3 steps.)



4. Now, move 3 steps ahead to uncover the secret steps and another 3 steps to the final position below.



5. Follow the steps below to obtain a score of 329.






6. Now, move back and forth the 3 squares before you (marked by 3 red crosses and then 3 blue crosses) until you get a score of 1849. It should be about 20 times. Then move from that position to the last room as indicated by the last 3 red crosses. You will get 2199 when you send score.

It's actually 152 times, not 20. You only get 10 points per 3 space move.

 

Felt like it took forever at the end to get up to 1849, but I believe it worked out in the end. Just gotta hang in there.

At the beginning of the month of August, how were the scores? I'm always too slow to ever reach champion on this thing on the first day, so I gave up around last June so I could move on to other trophies. :/
