http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/80963391/ The chocolate brown dog is pretty much the mirror image of my dog!! It is quite uncanny! I have been searching for this commercial online for months! It was on TV in Canada around Christmas time and I only saw it twice and they took it off the air...anyhow...I really enjoy the slow-mo action and the facial expressions on the dogs that are captured because of the slow-mo...you can tell they really are enjoying the treat lol
Sometimes I wonder how people are able to get this stuff on video. My animals do funny stuff all the time but unless I were to just follow them around with a video camera all the time I would never get anything
I think because when they shoot dog food commercials they sort of starve the animal so it will look all excited to eat the food...at least I imagine that is part of it. The other part is that they have cameras just waiting for the sweet shot and it probably takes millions of tries lol
I think that they probably make the food appealing to the dog by drizzling meat sauce on it or something, starving an animal is inhumane and I'm sure it wouldn't be allowed.
I think that's part of what makes it funny I stumbled upon this video a while back and thought it was pretty great. By the way, most dogs don't have to be "starved" and the treats don't have to be "drizzled with meat sauce" in order for them to get excited about a treat and jump for it or salivate. None of you are dog owners?
I personally believe they just train them to act like that on cue from someone off camera. Dogs are very good actors (in their own right).
Dogs are very smart you can definately train them to do what you want to do. Any one remember Lassie, Air Bud, Homeward Bound, or any of the other animal movies? we should give animals more credit. Except cats :x they are freaky.
Yep, my dog will do tricks for a simple piece of his dog food that he gets to eat all the time lol. If you make it seem special, he'll do anything for it. XD The last dog is my favorite! <3
Awwww... My dog will do tricks.. but easily forgets them if I don't make her do them alot...and does become ignorant at times and refuses to do anything... Too much like her mother (and me really ) However, when its dinner time she knows she'll sit and stay until I tell her its okay to eat.. And she'll NEVER make the mistake of trying to growl at me again..
