IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE POST!

Decent for a start, the effects in the sig are a bit meh but it's alright. Text placement and coloring needs work. :p
Good luck with graphics, it's mad fun if you like this kinda art. :D

Huh, any suggestions of what to do with the text? Or a color to use?

The blue letters are almost impossible to read. The red is a bit better but I'd say the text still needs some tweeking. Beyond that I can't say much, I still struggle with stick men.

There is a bit of weird pixelation around the text which is a bit off-putting for me, but otherwise its a nice graphic! :D

Its on purpose to contrast the "Fexxel" since people were saying it wasn't popping out.

._. all those filters you mustve used. Did you try to look up tutorials on how to make sigs? I think I told you in the last one but if not go ahead and look some up. http://www.pixel2life.com is a good place to start. If I HAD to rate it I'd give it a 3/10 sorry. It's too big, distracting, and ...well ugly. Sorry for being harsh but it really isn't pleasant to look at.

For text you can give it a stroke (border) of a contrasting color to help it stand out against backgrounds.

    For a border:

    New Layer on top
    Ctrl+A
    Edit>Stroke
    Inside
    1px
    Color of your choice
    Viola

I think its good, but I know exactly how you did it so I know that it's pretty simple!

A good idea for the text is to make it smaller and then put a stroke on it, play around with some layer effects and you can make text look much better =]

6/10 for learning to do it though!

I'm sorry but i definitely have to agree with charlie on this one... to be blunt it sucks... if you wanna check out a tutorial closer to home goncalo made a few before the change and one of them made it through
    graphics-and-art-tutorials-f43/making-stylish-signatures-1-t10429.html
goncalo used to be one of the best graphics artists(in my opinion) on nf.

anyhoo still stay clear of the smudge tool it's really easy to overuse or put in weird or awkward spots and well... you put the smudges in weird spots. Also try doing a google images search for c4d renders they usually can add a nice flare to your sigs :) and again as charlie said it's too big and distracting...

all in all id actually give it a 2.6/10 :( not to be mean, but just because it doesn't really deserve much more... but don't get discouraged, keep it up and really do look through the tuts that charlie posted and look through the one that i posted and you'll be making rockin' sigs in no time :)

Eh, the text hasn't changed the state since the prev. version. If I were you I would check out some tutorials and blend in some of your own effects. Sooner or later, you'll be able to do various effects outta spite and come out with a nice tag. :D Also, use some c4d effects in your sigs, they will definitely spruce it up. If you need like sites for various resources i'll post them later. :p

you dont need to be so harsh m8 he is new to the graphics scene.

maybe you were perfect the moment you opened a graphics programme but some people need time to learn.

instead you could of just said i dont like it, or its not my kind of thing.

Just bear in mind that other people have feelings too...

He doesn't mean harm. He just wanted Fexxel to realize that his work as of right now is indeed, not very good. One thing an artist should learn is to take criticism in good or bad. You shouldn't "baby" a budding artist saying his work is pretty good or such because it wont help him get better. We're not dissing his skills nor his work ethic. We're just saying what we think about his work. Also if you didn't read the rest of his post he did include that he wasn't trying to sound mean or anything. He also gave words of encouragement. Just read next time.. k?

    thx charlie i <3 u :)
and actually i wasn't perfect when i first opened photoshop... i just had different problems, i always tried to put too much into my stuff, look here's my first attempt at making anything at all...
as you can see i have way too much stuff crammed into that little space and i have too much going on and it's very distracting. And i'm still not perfect even with my current sig there's a big open spot in the top left corner... not even charlie is perfect, although he is pretty dang close xD. And as charlie said i gave words of encouragement, i told him not to take it to heart pretty much, and told him things that gave me problems too. When i first found the smudge tool i was in love with it and always got the wierdest looking sigs, unfortunately none of those ones made it through me reformatting my hard drive. And i wasn't babied through my beginning stages either i had charlie and goncalo and everybody nipping at my heels with anything i did wrong and i still do have people nipping at my heels and i enjoy every single harsh word they give me xD After all misery makes some of the best art :)
