Okay, so when Windows 7 comes out, a variety of computer manufacturers are offering free upgrade kits for those who bought a computer or laptop through them from January (?), or somewhere around there. Sony is one of them.

To my knowledge, Sony around the world (save for Australia) do no charge for this free upgrade. Whereas, Sony Australia have decided to be petty and charge $15.

And that's not the whole of it. $25 delivery. How the fuck can they justify $25 delivery on a $15 item?

$40 for an upgrade worth $57. That's meant to be free. Shove it up your arse, Sony.

Mail Sony HQ? I bet if you complain enough they'll send you a free kit.

Not that easy...These are just marketing strategies...

When a new product is introduced most companies (sony) will try to get a hefty profit out of it...

That's completely ridiculous. Take it from me, a person who's worked in the customer service industry, if you call them and complain enough and are forceful enough, they'll give it to you for free. You gotta fight for it though
