Logging in and Windows 7

    Does anyone have issues logging into the programs (with neopets login not nf.net) on windows 7?

    Or is it just hte internet connection i'm on?

    They work perfectly fine on Windows 7 x64 for me.
    Try speedtest.net, that should give you an answer to if it is your internet.

    its def not the internet speed. 10mb/s both ways. any other ideas?

    Wow. o.o
    You could have to many programs using up the memory and CPU.
    You could also have alot of files on your computer causing it to be slow when your computer index's them all.

    Try disk cleanup and see if that makes any changes to the speed.

    The computers only a week old so I doubt that's it :p

    I even tried running in different compatability modes, that didn't work.

    Perhaps something is blocking me from logging in on this internet connection...but I don't know if such things exist.

    Yea, i figured you had enough knowledge of how to keep your computer well maintained anyway. lol
    I'm out of idea's.. Good luck figuring out why your having troubles.! :p

    ...I only have a problem when I'm trying to use a slow/bad proxy.

    It just says logging in and seems to go no further.

    Can you login to neopets normally? If so, it is probably a problem with the program or your firewall...if it is an old program that could be the problem.

    Otherwise, you might be ip banned, bad password, or your network is blocking neopets.

    It's possible to log in via IE and FF.

    So I'm not IP banned, def got the right password and neopets isn't being blocked through the browsers...
