I heard a rumor a while ago that was about logging IPs. It seems that NP only logs your IP while you log in and while you're sending scores.

Anyone who knows more about this?

Neopets recieves your IP with every page you visit, it's the thing that allows you to have a connection with the neopets server..

As they recieve it, they will almost certainly log it in some way and be able te retrace it.

That's why you use proxies! *jumps into scene* They chained iced me on proxy lol. Banned proxy.

Whenever I do anything, I always use a proxy.

Should be the same with most hosts. I have worked with cPanel before and there's alot of utilities inside that tracks all the IP per page, etc and it should be possible to store the records separately so that wouldn't take up much space on their server. They'd probably have the records for about a few months at most, that's my gesture.
