Ok,, here is a logic puzzle that i am working on. Here's the question: The waitress, who had the name rosie stitched on her blouse, took a pencil and asked, "what'll it be today?" "I'll have the daily special", I said, indicating a sign behind the counter: Daily Specials-- $5.95 Monday-- Meat Loaf Tuesday-- Fried Chicken Wednesday-- Pork Chops Thursday-- Ham Friday-- Swiss Steal Rosie turned to look. "Oh, that sign's all wrong now", she said. "The special you want was served yesterday. And what the sign calls yesterday's special is actually being served 2morrow. Today's special is fried chicken." Tell on what day this happened and how the daily specials had been rearranged. So, one of my ideas was to look at the fried chicken and move the foods according to what the waitress say. But i don't feel that this is the right solution...so does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Monday-Ham Tuesday-Swiss Steal Wednesday-Meat Loaf Thursday-Fried Chicken Friday-Pork Chops The day it happened was Thursday.
Todays special is fried chicken (tuesday) Yesterday must be meat loaf then. Yesterday's special is being served tomorrow: meatloaf at mondag is being moved to tomorrow which is wednesday. Basically, just move everything two days; Monday:Ham Tuesday: Swiss steal Wednesday: Meat Loaf Thursday: Fried Chicken Friday: Pork chops If I got it right xD (not that good to explain stuff ._.)
i see...i knew that must have been done. i was thinking of keeping fried chicken at tuesday and move everything one day up...
