Okay so I have a notepad with a list of like..old kiddy emails from back in the days, and one of them was xxxxxx###.
I was going through it all cuz I wanted to see if any of them had any old neo accounts I don't remember and what not. Tried a few things, and on this one I did the "forgot username" recover, and it sent me a user that's the exact same user as this email.
The password was the exact same as the username, and I tried to login and I can't so I went to check out the user on neopets, and apparently it's some guy called Leo, living in the US.

Sooo..I know i'm really bad...I REALLY AM. But I can't get on the account without the birthday, and I noticed whoever this is has a facebook page, MADE ON MY EMAIL. I got his birthday, went in his account. He hasn't logged in for "a long long, time ago" or whatever.

    I just..found this extremely odd...?
I don't understand how that even happened.
It seems like as some point..the guy owned this email...but I don't see how, cuz the secret answer to the email was "what's my library card number" and I entered MY library card number o_O

Wow. That is pretty messed up . I wonder what the actual chances of that kind of glitch happening. What I think happened is, your account was inactive so long that it was put back so people can use the username again. And that guy made the account with your name and Neopets database still retains some of your information as backup for that account ?

Doesn't explain why the secret answer for the email was MY library card # :p That thing is like..12 numbers long. Impossible to be a "coincidence".

Ah yes. That is very odd. All I can think of is it is one mind boggling glitch on many levels with many systems. I blame Y2K :D

As far as I understand it, there's a special way of hacking that would do this.
Some guy on some other forum gets into Neo (dunno how), and gets a HUGE list of stuff.
This stuff includes usernames, emails, passwords, etc - and he provides all these so the people buying his lists can *hopefully* log into the email with the same password as the account and gain a lot of the sides. That would explain how he logged in, but I dunno why he would create an account on that email... but whatever, that's my guess of how he got in. Either that process, or a similar one used for another game - and then just took advantage of it for it's full use.

Lol, that seems imppossible, but it's really funny. Does this guys neo account seem any good? If this happened to me I wouldn't be able to resist trying to get in the account, so I don't blame you.
