I've recently been iced, and they got an account I had for nearly two years that hadn't been touched with an Autobuyer, so I'm a bit upset, but now that I no longer have anything to lose, it's time I can really experiment with the programs :)

The Main Shop Autobuyer is a very good program, in my opinion. But it lacks just a few things that would make it nearly perfect.

    1) Have proxy support. Now, this wouldn't stop people from getting their accounts banned, but it could prevent other accounts from being banned by association. I know the new cookie would automatically log out anyone who uses the same proxy as someone else, but I guarantee at least some people can find non-mainstream proxies to use.

    2) What about having the search last for only X amount of minutes? Like I select that I want to leave the program searching a shop for one hour, take a twenty minute break, and then repeat. That way, if I leave the program running, it won't get me banned because I left the autobuyer on forever, and it would seem a little more reaslistic because humans take breaks. Or maybe even make a schedule? Leave the program to run from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM every day automatically turning on and off.

    3) In addition to the X amount of minutes thing, how about making the amount of neopoints remaining update with every purchase, and set a price limit. For example, I start out with 50,000 neopoints. I then select an option so that when the amount of neopoints drops below 25,000 the programs automatically stops. That way, the program could be running for 20 minutes or 2 hours, it'll be different every time, and it looks more realistic, rather than having the AB keep attempting to refresh and buy when the account has no neopoints in it.

    4) Loading more than one shop and list to be entered into a queue. For example, I will search the Pharmacy with the Pharmacy list for 1 hour, take a 20 minute break, then search the Chocolate shop with the Chocolate list for 1 hour, take a 20 minute break, and repeat. This would also deter detection because it's more changing and seems less autonomous.

    5) Just as a precaution, set a turn off automatically after X hours limit. Regardless of any other setting, the AB will shut down or log off after 12 hours, for example.

    6) Also as a precaution, have a "Are you sure" dialogue box appear to people who try and change the refresh limit under 5 seconds advising them it will lead to a faster freeze.

    7) This may be simple, but some of the other programs have it. A "Remember Me" feature, so that you don't have to keep entering your username and password?

If I think of any more, I'll be sure to add them to the list. I know that these features might make the thing more expensive, but damn if it wouldn't be worth it :) I would especially like to see the first three things implimented.

    Thoughts?

Basically, the schedules thing would make it the best.

Just leave my computer on, and know to price your AB items at a time its not scheduled to AB.

    :D

Proxies are basically worthless now. Just use one account, you really dont make much more with 3 accounts.

proxy support only slows you down and if somone has the same one your freeze rates go through the roof
To prevent chain icing I use my aol browser for accsesing my main while I use IE to acsess my ab accounts. THe browser has different ip addresses.

AOL has dynamic IP address and it changes every time you sign on/off AOL.

whereas IE uses the PC's IP (which will come from his direct location) and will remain the same no matter what :p

You can change it's IP, but only if you install a proxy into the browser.

So, you could download Opera, Netscape, IE, and Firefox, install a different proxy on each one, and never have to worry, besides other people using the proxy.
