are there any ways i can make a decent (50k+) amount each day other than restocking? i've tried auctions but they seem much harder than restocking...
You can snipe the wizard, but that's often hours of aimless refreshing. Other things are gaming; there are guides around for making up to 100k a day from games! You can also resell. Buy HTS items for low and sell them for profit. A lot of people do this, but it requires a lot of patience. Generally you can make a decent profit selling HTS r98/99s to I/J-questers who need it quickly. Those are some options ABing is another XD

Use The Daily Neopets guide for dailies: http://thedailyneopets.com/dailies Besides the fact that they have a useful list of dailies (although I use avatarlog and customize my own), they also have a guide for making 80k ish a day, which they update based on the featured game, etc.
Playing games is actually a great source of income if you don't want to hack or wait for restocks yourself. Use some good guides to find some games that you can make 3k from in a few minutes, and if you do that with a good selection of games, then you can make 50k in maybe two hours.
A good way is to resell things, but you're gonna have to work up at least a little bit of fortune (at least like 500k) before you start doing that. And you can't be generous, try to push people down to the lowest price you can drag out of them, and the highest price for when you sell it.

I don't know about doing daily stuff, but if you hoard plot prizes that can earn you a pretty penny. I guess another good way is to play keyquest. The codestones are pretty common prizes there and they can earn you a good amount.
