This is a guide i just wrote to help new players a little bit. It was first made by Wizet and then brought out by Nexon. It has lots of servers for different parts of the world. For example Global Maple Story (GMS) this can now only be played by people out of Europe or people who already have an account on that server. Europe Maple Story (EMS) is the same as GMS apart from in reverse. There are still more after these. =============== Part II Classes There are 4 MAIN classes and the beginner class These classes are; Warrior Mage Thief Ranger These classes require a certain level before you aquire your skill. These are; Warrior - Level 10 Mage - Level 8 Thief - Level 10 Ranger - Level 10 Each class have there own trainers at different places on the world map Spoiler Also each class have advancements these are all the same level. Level 30,Level 70 and a new one which will be released some time this month Part III Making Your Character Starting is simple you register to the site of your region. Note: If you wish to have a Male character you must state that you are male, and visa versa if you want a female character. Once the client is downloaded and you have opened Maple Story and logged in you get to choose what server you wish to be on. Note: GMS is currently the only client that has more then one server(i belive please correct me if i am wrong) Once that has done you can create your character. Spoiler Here you name your character and give the character its look. Maple Story has a unique stat build, when you create your character you will be rolling a dice to choose your stats, you may roll this as many times as you wish. The stats are; Strength (STR) Dexterity (DEX) Inteligence (INT) Luck (Luk) Note: Some guides tell you to roll intill you get X amount on each stat After you are happy with your stats and got a name for your character you may start the game. =============== Part IIII Beginning The Game Now that your character is made you can go kill things right... :nope: Of course not like any MMORPG there is a tutorial, it is possible to skip this but i wouldent if you are a new player. To begin you need to click on the women next to you this will take you to the tutorial. Once there you should be dressed in an apple...yeh i know... Picture to be added soon The tutorial will explain key config and ect... once done you will be brought to Maple Island(Newbie Island) This is where you can start to train. Most people stay to level 10 but if your a mage you will be leaving at level 8. Training: Basically your stuck here for a bit and your main creature to train on is the snail Spoiler there are other monsters but this will give you the most exp the quickest There are many quests on Maple Island a key one to do is to gain the lounger found in one of the cities on Maple Island this quest is important to do as the lounger becomes very useful when you leave Maple Island. =============== Part IIIII Lith Harbor WARNING:DO NOT USE THE VIP TAXI This taxi will take you to a high level dungeon. Now that you have left Maple Island you can start to get really into the game. you will be wanting to find a guy called Olaf, he will give you a little quiz and ask what class you would like to be. After that he will tell you where to go to get there.
