Okay, im kind of new to this, so I won't mind if this topic is deleted, but it's something i've been doing the past couple years or so.

Alright, does everyone see how a events such as the advent calender happen every year, and those items are retired after the month of christmas? Well, Neopets always give's out a useful item that can be used on your neopets, or on a collection... [Ex. Snowy petpet paintbrush, Ring of sloth stamp] and by then, theres will be millions of that item out, which cause everyone to sell them at an outrageously low price.

So now it's your advantage, stock up on as many as you can or want, [recommendedly an amount you can afford], and wait a year or so. I know it's a long wait, but just let them sit in your SDB for however long or so, and by then.. like now, the ring of sloth stamps are around 10k each. And the christmas paint brushes... they are already UB again =] So take advantage of these events, you'll make a decent profit no matter what ^^'; I have 500 ring of sloth stamps, I don't know if I went overboard, but I knew how the stamps were getting outrageously low, such as the candychan stamp.. I never knew it'd jump that high, I sold mine for like 250k =/

That's kind of what I did with the stamps. Its a great way make money but the wait is ridiculous. I'm just angry I didn't do it with the paintbrushes.

I also do this and find that it works well :)

Another way to take advantage of seasonal events like Christmas, is to stock up on related items in advance and then as the event approaches, the items rise in value. So right now I'm stocking up on Valentines items which I will put on sale at the beginning of February, once the prices have inflated some. Next month I'll collect together a few neggs for easter and then I'll start saving Halloween and Christmas items again. I know it sounds kind of obvious, but thought it might help someone out

I did this 3 or 4 years ago when trick or treating first came out, i bought 1000 for 5k and i sold each for 35-45k, theyre almost unbuyable now. i was banned on that accounts unfairly.

tried it with trick or treat bags as well and got frozen, of course i came from having 70k to buying a plushie pb in one night by selling them

i must've made 75 accounts and transferred them all to one

and they don't go up too much, like plushie pppb was 10k last christmas and is what like 11k now?

Yeah, the treat bags sell very well! I have also done this, but this year, they still stand at 10k. I only have like 50/500 left though, but im waiting for this seasons rarity to pop up, can't wait to see what it is xD
