Im not whining or complaining, I admit I broke rules and got punished for it... But I suggest maybe mods could cut people a little slack if they deserve it... I mean, I donated enuf $$ to this forum the day I joined in order to get every program I wanted, so I really have no need for forum points. This suggests that all my posts are either to help users, entertain users, or just to ask a question when id like an answer. I can understand taking harsh measures against point spammers, annoying useless users and disrespectful users, but I hope/am pretty sure I dont fall into any of these categories. I was banned for 3 days for posting in the wrong tab sometime around 1-2 months ago, and recently an 8 day gravedig, and requesting a sale outside of the blackmarket. These were honest mistakes, which a simple reply informing me of my rulebreaking would have sufficed. I do commend the mods for cracking down on actual point spammers and people who deserve bans, but possibly being sure to differentiate between good users making mistakes with obviously bad users.

I can see your point in this, but I think you're wrong.
You're asking to be treated better than others, and if moderators would start doing this then people would lose respect for them. Just because you have donated money to the forum, you shouldn't be allowed to break rules. If you break a rule, then you clearly don't know them and then you should read them again. Not just look at the warning and think "so trades outside the black market isn't okay, good to know", but actually read the rules.

Very true, I dont expect better treatment than others b/c i donated money, I was simply using this as an example of why my post have nothing to do with cash points. I do know the rules and I have read them and reviewed them. I made a mistake wen I posted in the wrong section twice.. It duz happen, the first time I was warned I didnt know I couldnt talk about what i did, and reviewed the rules and found what I was looking for, but the other times, I believe I thot I was in the blackmarket forum when I made the post (I switch tabs alot), and the 1 day dead topic I posted in was also an honest mistake.. I quickly glanced at the last post and noticed it was May and posted. (the date was actually May1, and i posted May9)... I guess Ill just have to triple check b4 i post anything cuz I lost time and NP being banned for 3 days, and expect never to have to deal with that again!

-also let me specify, I was merely suggesting that the recent growth in point spammers has resulted in more warnings for good users, Not that certain users shud get special privilege

I get what your saying and all, but people should know in the first place, and honest mistakes RARELY happen three times lol I think that all people should be treated the same, one level two user had 6 reportable offenses and got no warnings because he was level two but late on he got 4.

I do think that you should get better treatment if you donated because its like your keeping the site alive, but w/e. And its not because I donated.

But seriously if you read the rules and made mistakes THREE times, it seems like some of them weren't in all honesty. Not saying that your not honest or anything I mean you made a great guide and all.

I'm sorry for your mistakes and consequences if they were honest mistakes, but you must understand why we have to uphold the rules.

The suspension system is in place so that the more warnings one has, the longer the suspension period, and vice versa. 3 days is really not that long, and if they're honest mistakes, which I'm sure they were, then I doubt you'll accumulate that many warnings in order to warrant a longer and more serious suspension length.

As for the whole letting-up-on-donaters thing, well that seems a bit unfair to me. You're paying for forum cash, not for the privilege to break rules.

Lol, as i said b4, i dont think ppl who donated shud have any edge, thats a misinterpretation of what I said... And yes people can make 3 honest mistakes... I clearly explained how.. I mean, i clearly wudent gravedig if I had noticed that it was a day stale, and Why would I try to sell something outside the blackmarket purposefully? None of this would benefit me... The 1st mistake that I made a month ago was actually my fault. I didnt know that u werent allowed to discuss abing shops on the boards.. So i definately deserved that 1. O well, I'm sure I'll end up with more of these cuz I'm prone to not paying attention to minor details.. I just hope the next time I make do something like a 1 day stale gravedig, or post in the wrong topic, just let me know or move it for me, I'll appologize and I wont get banned again :p .. I mean I'll definately try to make sure I dont do it again...

--something i was going to point out in my first post, but decided that I would lose credibility if I said it then, so I'll say it now: Isnt it kinda ironic that there are strict rules/bans of members in a forum dedicated to completely RAVAGING the rules of another site? I mean a simple analogy, Spammers are to neofriends as neofriends users are to neopets.com... Cept I hate TNT and I like the mods on this site.

Oh I understood you, I was talking about the donating thing to Phobia.

And next time you accidentally make a mistake and break a rule, just edit your post with a little "Sorry! Mods, please move/delete/etc." and it should be fine. :)

haha, i was warned for spamming when before I knew you could edit posts. I was kind of mad at the time, cause it was an honest mistake. But they have to some what, as i've seen real spammers here and they get away with it for up to a week even i've seen.
