    Holy (bleep)....it's a Jewish holiday. Don't you know that? I thought everyone knew that. Unless you're not American. If you live in, like, the UK, not many people are Jewish there, so it's ok. But if you're American...WOW. o_O

    It celebrates the Festival of Lights, when someone (The romans?) came and ruined the Jews' temple, slaughtering pigs (NOT kosher) all over and stealing the oil, smashing the alter, etc...being horrible....

    They found oil to light the menorah, but only oil enough to last for 1 day. However, a miracle occured and the small amount of oil lasted 8 full days.

    We get presents just like Christians do on Christmas, but it's not all about being greedy and getting presents. It's also about spending time with family and appreciating what we have.
