I don't usually watch crap like this, but for some reason I got sucked into it earlier when it was on TV. Did anyone else watch it? I'm only asking because Miss USA totally fell on her butt. She was trying to be all graceful and walk out on the stage to model for the evening gown part, and she fell flat on her little tush. The look on her face was priceless.
Miss Japan. Miss USA got 4th runner up even though she fell. I think people were booing her at one point.
Don't get me wrong though, I felt really sorry and embarrassed for her. That look on her face when she realized she had fallen... poor girl. It must have been a nightmare. BUT... She regained herself quickly and started smiling again, just like nothing had happened. If it would have been me, I would have ran off the stage crying or something, so I admire her for that. She still got a relatively high score for that competition, and she wasn't physically hurt, so it was still a little funny.
I think its a bit presumptuous to use the title "Miss Universe." Maybe "Miss Earth," would be more appropriate, since no other planets are represented properly.
I don't think any of them were "special". As a matter of fact, I think most of them looked like clones of one another. In my opinion, the competition is a joke. It reminded me of what I'd imagine a cattle auction to be like. Haha, good point! I think the title "Miss Universe" is ridiculous anyway for a beauty pageant.
lol I was about to say that... What the heck is it miss universe.... Thats just wierd. I should be miss planet earth or something of the sort. But I wouldnt have watched it anyway... theyre pretty boring... The scary ones are the little kids.
Massive gravedig. Miss USA fell hard, I laughed, I stopped watching. Who cares who won That was priceless. This thread should be locked and/or deleted.
Re: I suppose that once we find life on other planets, they'll be welcome to join in on the contest too! Until then, I suppose it'll just be earth. I suppose aliens would have different views of beauty though. "Gosh darn, she's got smooth tentacles!Hooweee" I reckon Japan deserved the win. Good on her.
