Watching "The World's Fastest Indian" last night, it brought a tear to my eye towards the end. And it made me think about the other movies that have done the same.. and I could only really think of two: Schindler's List and Dumbo.. What about yourselves?
Umm... none? Do tears of laughter count? I lol'ed so hard while watching Zombieland it was great! That brought a tear to my eye Lots of movies have done that though ^_^ I can't think of any more right offhand
Defiance. Great movie... although mega underrated. Should have won something. It was based on a true story
My Sister's Keeper. But then again, being written by Jodi Picoult it was automatically a chick flick that'd have people crying. (When I went to go see it with my little sis, besides the fact we were both ticked off by how far it deviated from the plot of the book, there were people who brought boxes of tissues with them. Literally.)
It is extremely hard for me to laugh at comedies, cry at sad movies etc. But Moulin Rouge really made me cry. The Notebook did too - like really made me cry o: and it's kinda weird because it takes much =P I think it's because I know that the movie has a script and everything is set up and stuff that it makes it hard for me to cry to movies. But these two made an impact, also my favorite movies
7 pounds (the plot was FREAKING CRAZY MAN FREAKING CRAZY) especially when he uses his very own pet jellyfish to kill him :-( The movie was overall depressing. And also the Pianist. Saw that my sophmore year in history.
Oh yeah, I forgot about 7 pounds D: Actually thought it was very good, didn't make me cry for some reason.. But very sweet :3
yeah I have to agree the ending for code geass is emotional but I was more happy at the ending despite what appears to be going on because he had accomplished his goal and beaten the odds/system I want them to come out with more...now
Carlito's way brought a tear to my eye. At the end when he is being carried out, shot. Great acting by Al Pacino.
