In the real world. I have pixel art and paint shop cartoons and stuff, too... but this is my life right now. I do wedding cakes, but I just put some fun birthday cake pictures below. Some of it is strange... I'm known for some strange designs, things like The Green Man. Let me know what you think. I'll post more later. Almost all of this is butter cream and free handed. The last one is a full sheet with a small edible image, air brushing, and piped on wheat plants to match for a big event downtown in my hometown. Edited with new pictures There's some from this week. I'm still working on getting other pictures that aren't on my card. I'll have my portfolio back up sometime this week and I'll link you to it. Still working on that since I took it down to revamp.
Re: My Art... I hope you like cake. Some digital art! And... not from this year, but from last year. I like this one, tho. >_>
Re: My Art... I hope you like cake. lol, LIKE cake!! I LOVE cake (this is FUNNEH with the word filter ) The first one is really awesome :3 You're amazingly good C: I also like the digital art a lot!
Re: My Art... I hope you like cake. :maha: Thank you! I love good feedback. Everyone loves cake. I do sugar-free cake, too, for diabetics. Gluten free stuff is something I haven't explored, tho. I will soon enough.
Re: My Art... I hope you like cake. Holy crap, that cake is amazing! Also like your human pictures. You have good anatomy skills.
Re: My Art... I hope you like cake. i love the cakes, they look nicer than the ones people are always making in the tv shows like cake boss.
Re: My Art... I hope you like cake. Woah, that cake is awesome! It would be such a shame to eat it. V___V
Re: My Art... I hope you like cake. Different prices. Cecil the turtle is a $10 drawing because I can do him fast. Dora the Explorer and such go about the same. The first cake was a $40 drawing on a $22 cake, I think that's about right. I do well, but only when I'm decorating from home, otherwise my bosses don't share any of the profits from my drawings. I did a lot of shaped cakes this past week - I'll get pictures for you. A gumball machine, a beer bottle, and a few other nifty things. I get a lot of artistic outlet at work.
How long do those cakes take you to make? They're amazing! I've gotta say.. have people paid you for those? If not you could definitely make a few extra bucks like that..
Those are awesome! My mom does the same thing, sorta. She always used to make homemade cakes and spend lots of time decorating them like that. The first one with the face is....ridiculous! I cant even begin to imagine how long it too you to finish it I bet it killed you to have to cut into it and ruined it XD
