    I've got two kitties, Piper and Autumn. Autumn's the baby, and Piper's about 4 months older - and she's in heat. They're both indoor cats, and both female.

    Any suggestions on what I should/shouldn't do? Never had a cat in heat before. And she looks miserable ; ;

    You're lucky, you've got 2 females. Mine were a sister and a brother and I had hard time keeping them apart x_x

    I read somewhere that a vet can give shots to make her feel more comfortable.

    Someone told me to put a penny ro something with some copper in it in there water bowl.

    I didn't try it because my 2 girls got fixed before they came in heat.

    The nice thing about having female cats you can have them fixed now if you want. You can ask around or call the humane society and they can help you find a cheap place to get it done. There is a place close to us that gives a discount on groups.

    I'll warn you though once they start going in heat they will go in heat more often. My mom and I both had that problem our 1 cat Wench (and no thats not a typo) was coming in heat every 2 -3 weeks and it gets really annoying.
