My First Avatar

I made my first avatar. :yup: Do you like it?

I had to manually round the edges, because my photoshop is stupid, so its a little small. Other than that I'm rather pleased with it.

The main lightning picture is a stock photo but the rest was all me and my virtual eraser/layerer.
It took me all morning, but that could just be because I was using my laptop's stupid touchpad thinger. :lol:

It is 11 frames long. =3

Should I make the time inbetween the strike and darkness longer? Its at two seconds right now. Maybe it would look better at five seconds? -thats the only other step up from two I can do-

You need to learn some basic things but hell, you really are talented. Manually round the edges is nearly an impossible task for me so I might as well quit graphics.

You don't need to change anything about it. It's cool as it is.

Dont give up! :lol: It took forever to round it.. for some reason my photoshop refuses to let me use 'smooth' and it only lets me pick 'border'. -slaps CS2-

OOooooo you and fast had good ideas animated im so jealous I may need to try that too soon! But really great job I like it a lot! As for PS same happened to me so give it a boarder size 1 then it should let you use the option of smooth

Yea your avatar looks really awesome! Though I just wanna point out that when the avatar sort of restarts, the period when it stays black for awhile looks a bit unattractive :/ I'll suggest either replace the black portion with a picture of around 5-10% alpha. Total black just looks a bit weird to me :/ Another idea would be to make it black and white and also lower the alpha a bit during that black part.
