I made it last night... took me a while but i am happy with it... My best sig yet probably Taking constructive critics and ratings please
It's not bad, but just an odd choice of colours :/ I wouldn't have gone with the yellow border.. I like the effects, though. And I like the way there's a scratch across the front - looks cool
Ello' Chris: 1. The character is really pixelized. It kind of takes away from the general quality of the picture. 2. I admit I don't understand your color choice, but it looks like theres a little bit too much of only a contrast of yellow and blue. You should try adding other colors (maybe for the text?) 3. For the background, you might want to contrast the yellow/blue not with a blue render, but with another render (maybe fire to add more color? I would suggest thunder but because of the yellow...) 4. Are the background shapes meant to have lines through them with different colors? 5. Rating: 6/10, the color scheme isn't my favorite. Other than that, it's nice. Maybe I'm just being critical because I don't completely understand Wolverine or any of that stuff. :-/ G'day! ~Fexxel
I like it. Color scheme is a bit bright, add some darker shades to balance it out perhaps? I dislike the font though...use something more interesting and whatnot. Overall: 6.5/10
OK thanks all will change the border and post back As for the pic being pixalised that was all part of the effect Edit:: what about now?
Cool idea - like it a lot =) The first one was too bright for my eyes - the second one is less bright, but I still feel as if there's something that's not right. I think it may have something to do with the undefined edges/pixelation of the border of the render. I like the idea on the right hand side, but the copying of the centre/original idea, lowering the opacity and moving it left doesn't look that great. Maybe you could get another wolverine render, or dabble with some C4D and smudging effects.
I prefer the first one. The render should be the focal so you should make it look clear, I think that you should put the original render on top and blend it with the rest of the sig. (soft light, overlay, whatever looks best). If it looks plain after that then smudge your render more so it gives more of an effect or use some c4ds to create different effects. I don't like the font, it doesn't really go with the sig. Position it so that the 'Chris' is under 'Ikon'. That positioning will look better. To fix the colour/ make it less bright mess around with some gradient maps.
