    xD Surprise surprise, my 9 year old sister is stuck ;o
    Again, +rep for anyone who can help.

    1) Tim investigates two other patterns of matches.
    Here are his results:

    For each table, answer the following questions:
    a) How many matches are being added on each time?
    b) How matches are needed for pattern number:
    i) 5 ii) 10 iii) 20?
    c) Write down formula for the number of matches needed for the pth pattern.
    Use P for the pattern number, and M for the number of matches required.

    2) Here are the formulae for the nth term of a sequence.
    Write down the first five terms for each of them.

    a) 3n+4 b) 20-2n c) n2+4

    3) Kerry thinks of the following sequence:

    2, 6, 10, 14

    a) What are the next three terms of Kerry's sequence?

    b) What is the 20th term>

    c) Find a formula for the nth term.

    d) Use your formula to find the 50th term..

    2) I think you can do this John, you are 12.And I can't be bothered. Simple substitution.
