MYTHBUSTERS!

has anyone ever watched this show? I find it quite interesting. It just came out for DVD and of course, i bought it. (instant gratification). I like it because they go outside of the box on different stunts they pull.

Some examples of myths they've busted are the exploding toilet, cell phone destroying a gas station, mystical electrical statue whatever that is, and the goldfinger girl's death from gold makeup. lol, yep.

It's a great show, I love the episode when they try to record sound on paintings

yeah, that is sweet! i dont get to watch it enough... but I have seen the HUGE catapult (crane on big boxes) three times in one day xD... also seen a microwaved jawbreaker blowing up, different ways to blow up a safe, and splitting an arrow with another shot arrow.

sure is! and, for anyone out there not knowing what it is:

it is a show where they take common myths (eg. put a tooth in coke, will dissolve over night) and test them out in a couple of methods. it is a pretty sweet show, on discovery channel, so anyone that has time, I suggest watching it at least once

 

i think i saw this too, never watched it though, seems very educational lol

 

i loved the old mythbusters with only the two guys. now that they have everyone else they all seem like really lame tryhards

i love that show i'm almost sad i'm leaving 8th grade we watched it in science all the time cuz it used the scientific method or something like that

 

that would be sweet... I remember when I was in 8th grade science... we would have a weekly video... a guy with a monotone talking about some big bang theory, or something else, making it as boring as possible... then we would have a test on it, even though someone always fell asleep xD
