im surprised there is no active topic of naruto i thought that there wold be some people here that watch it, well i misses the cartoon network movie somethin stone was the title i dont remember, what do you think of Naruto as in the show
The show is ok, but I much prefer the manga. A lot of the words sound better in Japanese than when translated.
yeah i know what you mean, oftem when i watch a movie and they translate it to spanish it can loose some of its funny ness, i watch the show on saturdays so i have no idea what happens on shippuden, naruto is one of my fav shows
I watch the show in japanese through fansubbers. No way I'll ever watch the horrible english version....naruto is NOT supposed to sound like charlie brown.
hahaahhaah charlie brown lol never thought about it that way i would watch it in japanese if i talked japanese i dont realy like reading subtitles
I only watch the Japanese subbed version from Dattaboy. Somehow Cartoon Network screws up on good shows like Naruto and get horrible translations and voice actors. Or it's just me being used to the Japanese version of the show. Anyway, I think the show is great but gets filled with too many fillers at times.
You mean Dattebayo? Dubbed version..."Believe it!" I thought the voice actor for Naruto was not bad in the dubbed version. Much better than one piece's dubbed Luffy. Yep, well, that's why i've stuck to the manga. And the manga does need to get ahead, as the anime always catches up, hence fillers.
Yes it's Dattebayo! I really love their quality. Just hate it when the producers/directors of shows start milking them for cash. The manga is awesome. I can't watch One Piece when it got dubbed, so much crap.
i watch the japanese version of naruto and i love it! it got kinda boring with the fillers but right now it's getting better again so i'm hooked onto it again!
I also watch it weekly when it airs on cartoon network. Its an ok show but it gets really annoying alot of the time.
I watch it on naruto-tv.com and reached episode 71 at the end of my post. What amazes me about this anime is that Naruto doesn't get the situation sometimes and gets confused too easy. But that attitude also represents the confusion of some who don't get it too so it helps a lot of people. =>> Less debatable forums and less mystery. Spoiler There are times some of the fillers are very funny and some very important like when 2 Akatsuki were on the trace of the 2-tailed Jinchuriiki, a short-hair blonde ninja in her middle age and one of those 2 told the other to be carefull because he might get killed.
Spoiler: The two akatasuki member at the end of the shipuuden episode 71 are called Hidan and Kakukuzu.
I used to watch the fansubs and the storyline is great, especially the buildup of the tailed beasts and akatsuki. Love Jiraiya though, hes the best.
gah! so true Dubbing is yucky and bad. Fansubs ftw. But actually, I'm not all that fond of the naruto anime. I used to read the manga but I kinda just ditched it after a like chapter 300 or something.
Yeah, the manga started getting sketchy. Not nearly as good as it started out. Everything seems to be dragging on and on, and the pages are filled with a lot of non-constructive panels.
A lot of fans are dropping the manga because there's too much Sasuke for their taste. And I kinda have to agree... and I sometimes find Naruto's attitude very disgusting. Spoiler When Naruto told Itachi that he was a better brother to Sasuke than Itachi ever was, I wanted Itachi to strike him down RIGHT THERE. It annoys me how he prattles on about Sasuke. I mean... the guy left the village and tried to kill him! Just give up on him already!
My unofficial opinion is that the manga seems to be dragging out because of the wait between each chapter emphasises the lack of action in the story-line. Also the story-line seems to be picking up the pace in recent chapters. While it seemed to slow down for a while, and it appeared that there was little to no progress, it may have been an attempt to create suspense so that the action will seem even better than if there was no suspense at all. It may just all be in my mind though...
