now this isnt designed for a flame war, although it may sound antaganising, but to all the Americans out there (whom I think are super), I want your opinion on something. From my experience, Americans make fun of my currency (Canadian) alot, calling it play money, and pennies, stuff like that, which i think was fair seeming our dollar used to go something like 56cents to your dollar, but now we are at 95cents, and it looks like within a year we will pass you. Does anyone there even care or does it make you mad that people that live in igloos will soon have a better currency? Not meaning to start anything, i just really have no idea on how you guys feel about that
Ahh let them have their moments, you said it yourself, we'll pass them within a year or so. Slowly but surely their money will be 'play money'
Haha go Canada! > At this rate, especially with the war there their dollar will just keep going down, but eventually I think it'll start to rise again depending on the next president and his/her decisions. (With Bush, their dollar is just gonna keep falling)
I've never really thought about other places currency to be honest, and could really care less if its higher or lower in different places. That's just me. Money is money. It gets you what you need, you never have enough, and it still seems to slip away when you need it the most.
Agreed. I also think only a complete arrogant asshole would compare his riches to someone else's riches. Get over yourself, pal!
damn man, theres no need for that stuff. I stated first post I dont want flames here, so dont be calling people arrogant assholes.
Hmm, lol. I've never heard of canadian money being called 'play money'. And also, the last time I checked, it was 91 cents... o_o; But to be back on the subject, I don't really notice these things, haha. So it wouldn't matter to me if canadian money was worth more or less than ours. xD
the US dollar is still very powerful. im not too worried about it yet, except the outrageous amount of $ we're borrowing for the war in iraq
You sir are a moron  Alan Greenspan decreased the value of our money not george bush so saying your pointless comment just makes you sound pointless as well :|
Well, 1 USD = 33 Thailand baht .. I know, it sucks xD Although... Canadians sure do love their country, don't they? I chatted with a guy on the internet and he kept going on about how great Canada is and that 'it's the best place in the world' and stuff.
It's true... but i remember when my mom worked in the us and her salary was higher than here... now it's almost the same with negligible difference
whoa, lol. when my friend went to thailand, she got me a wallet that was only worth $2.50 here. lol. I want to go to thailand and go on a shopping spree. LOL. My mom hasn't been there for like years! I don't think she'll ever be going again, so I probably won't get to go unless I go by myself. xP
I just got back from shopping at outlet stores in Washington (I live in BC) and I found everything so much cheaper in american dollars. A Burger King Whopper combo is like 4.79 there and around 5.50 here. 4.79 american in canadian is like 5 bucks.
