Yeah, so, I need a little help deciding which gaming laptop out of these to get...or suggest a better one ;)

Oh, btw, my budget is $10K, lol

Alienware Area-51 m17x (I can't find where to purchase though)
    Alienware M17-17 inch
    Maingear eX-L
    Rock Xtreme SL8

Those are the ones I've found that might interest me...right now, I'm kinda deciding between the Alienware m17x and m17

Any suggestions or just name the one that I should get :) (*psp* +rep for good reviews/suggestions)

I'd say definitely go with the Alienware... and can't you just buy it from their website?

Also, what games do you plan on playing? Depending on the game(s), you might not require a "high-end" laptop.

Alienware is not the end-all for gaming laptops. Alienware doesn't even make its own laptops. It re-brands Clevo (if you like Clevo barebones, take a look at Falcon NW, VooDoo, Sager, etc)

If you have a man-crush on Alienware, you might want to wait for this. Looks like ~5 more days to go.

For other brands, you might want to take a look at the Sager NP9280 (Clevo D900F), based on the new Core i7-950 processor. The first units start shipping next week. The GTX280M blows the HD 3870 of the M17 (even in crossfire) out of the water.

Basically, the Alienware systems that you are currently looking at are grossly outdated and grossly overpriced.

If you want something with a larger screen (18.4"), take a look at the ASUS W90VP.

10k is definitely more than enough. It's not like it's 4 years ago. You can get a very nice gaming laptop (quad core, etc) for ~5k
