Need Help with Sound...Drivers? [XP]

    So, after a LONG time, i finally got my XP working again, the good one. and... I cant get sound to play.

    Everything is hooked up, speakers on, volume control and all. But for some reason, it doesnt recognize the speakers or anything. I've tried windows update, nothing. Can anyone help meh?

    What sound card do you have?

    Do you know what drivers you need?

    Updating drivers would be my first point of advice - however I'm sure you've already thought of that.

    P.S It's not on mute is it? I've made that mistake before :lol:
