On neopets I have earned 103 referrals in the past few months. They have currently only given me credit for 31 of these and it takes weeks/months before I earn credit for them. Why is this taking so long.. is there something that I am not doing correctly.. and yes all of the users that I have referred have activated their accounts!

It may be because users either haven't activated their accounts, or they were frozen for some odd reason. And don't feel bad that you got credit for about 30 signups-i only have one XD

some time the accounts actually have to be active, ie playing games, I tried the ole make tons of accounts for the referal bonus thing before, and it never works properly, there might also be a limit to how many you can get in a certain time

Frozen accounts don't count. And if they can link the accounts to you in some way (IP, email address, Address, Postcode, etc) you won't get credit if they are checked properly.

The reason for it taking so long before credit shows is that since the system was updated a while back, the referrals are actually checked.

one reason could be that like more than 1 user signed upp with the same ip. or they're not activated. or tnt is just taking forever with the crediting thing o_O

Be happy you at least have 31 referals. My adjusted tally is at -4 :(

the same thing happens to me, since someone was cheating on it, they changed the rule of activation accounts for new users.

    Not just someone.

Hundreds of people were cheating the system.

Hahaha. Lol.. years ago I used to cheat all the time on the referral prgm. Does anyone know if you create fake accounts under a different IP address if the referrals will still be counted.. and would someone be able to make a program that could generate fake referrals.. :p
