I've been thinking of trying to scam the referral system for awhile. http://anonym.to/?http://www.neopets.com/linktous.phtml Basically, a program that would use a proxy list that you gave it to sign up for neopets over and over again. Have it create a gmail/yahoo mail (something without good CAPTCHA). Use your referral link 5 times, then repeat. Use proxies to avoid freezing. Run the program once a day, you'd likely make at least a mill. The good prizes are the last one (a random non-basic pb) and the "super rare item", an r99. Ideas? Thoughts?
You'd have to make it activate it aswell, since you don't get the credit until the accounts activated. Also, it would be kind of hard to get a good proxy list, wouldn't it?
This would be a really good idea, although proxy lists are next to impossible to find. >.> (Good ones that is) Then in 3 months, you can sell all 100 of the accounts as shells on the blackmarket. 100 * 300,000 = 30,000,000 Although to sell 100 of 'em you'd need to sell for like 200k but you get the idea.
So you're pulling 20 mil a day if you run the thing every day. Epic win. Though TNT would certainly catch on.
Ya, most certainly. Plus have fun selling 100 accounts a day lol. Would be a nice prog to run once a month maybe.
The idea is that you run it every day, and you get a r99 and a pb every day. You're going to run into a +10M r99 stamp (or LEV haha) or a Pirate/Plushie pb every so often. Edit: Just did some looking into it. If every r99 has an equal chance of being given out, you have a 20% chance of the r99 being worth more than 3 mil. A 10% chance that it's worth more than 8 mil. There are 43 non-basic PBs. 13 of them are worth over a mil. That's nearly a 33% chance, if each gets equal chance of being chosen.
I doubt there's an equal chance, it's probably rigged up to get one of the cheap r99s(that's why they'd be cheap, too). Same with the paint brushes, probably like a brown or checkered or something lame like that. But there is good profit to be made from selling all of these new accounts 3 months later, although 100 accounts a day to sell?? Have fun with that. ;p Another thing about this program is that it would need an account generator, as well. I'm not sure, but I think ricky said they were hard to make because it needed character recognition or some big fancy terms, but yeah.
