Neopets names?

I wanted to name a pet LMAO and saw that no pet had that name. But i thought. Is it blocked because of the A as in ass? WOuld naming a pet LMAO get me frozen or a warning?

Well LMBO is taken, so that cant be used, and is under 5 letters.

 

They actually warned and then froze several users a while back who kept posting the LMAO acronym. A bit extreme in my opinion, but hey "its a family site"

 

Yea, they covered it by telling u the pets name has to be 5 letters etc, but, I have a pet named fwka which i pounded, so ur pet can have a dirty name without getting u banned, it just has to be VERY subtle...

 

a pets name can be 3 characters
username 6 characters

 

I just put a Miss_ or Mr_ above the name I like.....weirdish but it works if you wanted to put Mr_LMBO.....cause LMBO seprate is 4 letters and you need 5!

 

Some names are blocked for Neopets, like 'Artist' and 'Alpha'.
I don't know why...

 

Just to be on the safe side don't name your pet anywhere close to anything that might be offensive.

 

Yeah someone got iced for having the name 'NastyCurve' Even though it was in reference to baseball, they froze him saying it was inappropriate. I wouldn't try to use lmao.

 

ya haha i was nastycurve B) . you really need to be careful when creating names, they are super conservative when it comes to appropriateness.

 

Yeah I was pretty shocked about your freeze story, it has to be one of the most dumbest freeze stories ever. My fiance (who doesn't play neopets) is a baseball player, and I told him about it, and he was shocked, and thought it was pretty dumb.

What's worse is people with the name 'Sexai_babe' etc, who are "Grandfathered" by the rules, and get to run around with that name. I don't really see how that is fair or even acceptable.

 

I dont even think its possible to use four-letter account names, however, if true that is kinda funny. Maybe you should look up wtf names as well, or perhaps the more decent abbreviations rofl, roflmao etc. I have a feeling an account of mine my be frozen so I may try to create one myself.

BTW, do you really think someone hasnt tried that name by now, with all the names already taken.. there most be something wrong with it. Myabe they'd even chain ice you, seems to much of a hassle to consider.

And if you even have to think about your iceland chances then its prolly not a good idea.

ive seen a couple names that have slipped past TNT the last couple days. the funniest was "balsaq_##" i think its obvious what he(/she??) was going for.
