Now I know there's to be no discussion about hacking, but this is not about hacking, its general security on neo, and i'm surprised at how much tnt has beefed it up.

A few months ago, it was like, tnt doesn't care. Now, i'm getting iced even easier and faster. You can't spam, i got iced earlier in about 30 seconds.

    Any thoughts on this topic?

spam? as in spamming on chatboards? if it is on chatboards, i was just doing it the other day XD.

but i think that they are focusing on the wrong thing ! catch those CGers if they can, why ice ABers and spammers in your case.

on other note, why is it difficult to catch CGers for TNT? i mean they can always browse around their own sites searching for those Javascripts or whichever other things that CGers use..why aren't they doing it?

    ^this

TNT is wasting too much time freezing legitimate (-ish) accounts for nothing - I was iced on four accounts, all of which never were AB'ed/SS'ed on - and they were iced for 'using downloadable programs to cheat' - when I asked TNT about this all I got was some automated BS about observing their rules on cheating. I was not hacked or CG'ed either - it was just TNT continuing to be jerks.
And I don't know why spamming would result in an icing - I spam like the dickens when I am advertising for my BC entries - I haven't even earned a warning yet!
As for why TNT is not doing anythign about the CG'ers I really can't understand it - I mean they are losing clients by the thousands daily - you'd think they'd at least try to care

well... i was spamming for hacking purposes in my case, but again, i do agree that tnt does spend too much time on freezing people that they think are cheating that aren't. I was just a bit caught off guard seeing not too long ago, tnt seemed to care more about cheaters then hackers...

I've lost every good main i've built up for unfair ices.

Honestly, I have the complete opposite opinion.
I've been ABing for 5-6months in the Attic on a side and transferring items and neopoints without safety at all. On same IP and everything.
I cannot believe how stupid they are .. I've made millions off of this, come on. They should see the link?

I think that may have something to do with Attic's low freeze rate - the one time I got iced for AB'ing I bought a super expensive Stamp from the Post Office and got it on my main via trades - next day - ICED!

I stay away from all high risk shops now, and just stick to meri foods, Attic and Igloo

Yeah, but I also meant the amount of NPs I transfer from one account to another - on same IP. And how much I am on each account, still on same IP XD
Must set off an alarm or something, you would think.

hmm..freja, do u have static or dynamic IP?

if u have dynamic IP, your IP would be changing everytime u disconnect from the internet and reconnect to it again:).

but still, if you always transfer within the same internet session, both your accounts would be tied to each other no matter how your IP changes.

maybe this is just temporary, maybe your account might need need to get some winter jacket some time soon :p. jk:D

I /think/ it is static, but not sure. But it really shouldn't matter, since I don't discharge when I log on/off accounts :p So they would still be on same IPs. But yeah, it's weird, but nice for me :p I'm just having fun as I can :D
It's not like I make thousands of mils, just around 10 or so (until now) , so I am very slow. But STILL I am being very unsafe : D

I'd say you've been super lucky Freja - good on ya!! (I actually dislike that phrase so much but I just had to use it)

I keep all my earned NP on a side - eventually I will convert the NP to items - but if it gets iced in the mean time at least I won't have lost anything too important :)
