So, a lot of people collect avatars, a lot of people collect trading cards. What else do people collect... OH YEAH. THEMES. But you ask yourself...what themes are there and um how do I get them? Well, this short guide will tell you how to get these fabulous themes. (AKA SIDEBARS) 1) Basic, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow You have them already...trust me. 2) Premium The only way you can get this sidebar is...being premium of course! Oh yeah...and you have to refer 5 people. That's the tricky part! 3) Altador You will get this sidebar when you complete the Altador Plot. Quick, this is one special plot! It is still open so if you haven't completed it yet, get to it! 4) Qasalan You can get the Qasalan sidebar by completeing the first step of the Lost Desert Plot. The thing is...it's been over for a while. Therefor this Sidebar is impossible to obtain, making it RETIRED. 5) Winter You can obtain this wonderful sidebar only by getting the random event at Terror Mountain! Good luck. 6) Valentines You get this sidebar when you send a MVC (A Mysterious Valentines Card) to a friend (or yourself on a side) on valentines day. This is cool, because both you and your friend will get the sidebar. These MVCs are pretty easy to obtain. They restock like crazy before V-Day! 7) Halloween This one is tricky! Thanks to all my neopets friends for helping me with this one. When it first came out, you got it randomly on Halloween. Then, you got it by refreshing Haunted Woods at Midnight on October 31. This is still obtainable (Thanks Heya) 8) Birthday You will get this on your birthday, but sadly it goes away after your birthday . 9) Maraquan You get this by participating in the Maraquan War...which is over. Sorry, it's RETIRED. 10) Purple You get this by viewing a Purple Pet that has a Purple Petpet. It comes around about everyear! 12) Cyodrakes Gaze You had to participate in the plot...which is over. That is pretty much it! Obviously, this is my first guide so tell me if I did anything wrong XD. OMG....I never knew that about the purple theme! But you might want to censor the URL. Add a space like so "neo pets"

There are also reports where you get it in a random event at terror mountain. That is how I recieved mine Also MC, what do you mean by censoring the URL?
ok guide, but some of the info is mis-leading. Valentines theme, you send it to a friend ONLY on v-day, not any day as it is lead also, halloween is still avalible as of last halloween
You can get/use all of the themes by installing this greasemonkey script (although it doesn't update the Site Themes part of your user lookup you can still use any of them to browse around the site, all of the icons associated with the theme show up as they should too): http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/14357
