Okay, so I know it exists and I knew more about it when I was like...15, but I don't remember much about it now...xD So what's the deal with paying to play? I know I can pay a fee or something and my account gets new features? Anyone hear about this? I know is exists and I want to find out more about it.

My opinion, yes, I don't think i would pay anything for the "benefits" of premium, let alone $8... But, I know a lot of people that do pay and are happy with what they pay, it's all personal opinion I guess.
Yeah...It seems pretty pointless. I was hoping we had a lot more benefits than that, but I guess not. :<
Some legit players like to get premium for the sake of it, but if you're going to get frozen a lot, yeah, it's pointless.

You do get more than what has been mentioned here! (Though, I still wouldn't say it's worth it.) As far as I know... -> Super Shop Wizard -> Neomail Addict avatar -> Premium cards that go in your profile (but you can't use them for anything) -> A customizable portal -> Access to a special section of the neoboards -> Beta test flash games (but you don't score NP!) -> The possibility of a space faerie talisman, which will randomly (and rarely) double the NP you make from a flash game (you get it after your 2nd referral) -> 1,000 NP every month -> A space faerie scratch card every week -> If your account is frozen, a higher chance of getting uniced (but I would never, ever, autobuy or cheat on a premium account) -> The ability to refer other users to the premium program for prizes.
Personally I think the most useful part of Premium are the special NeoBoards. Since everyone with access to those boards are Premium members (obviously), the users trust newbies to those boards so much more easily than the rest of the site...getting lent avatar items, adopting pets (special Premium-only adoption agencies, not to mention the people who post on those boards), etc., is so much easier on those boards than the normal NeoBoards. Of course, you could always just try to take full advantage of that during the 15 day trial, and cancel before you have to start paying.
You also get an email account and a whole load of random events that come through your email, as well as a 'portal', which you can customize with the areas you want. It's useful for navigating the site quickly and easily. The main advantage for me is not having the annoying adverts, and obviously the SSW. I make most of my NP from there and makes for really easy malling. There's also a reasonable referral system, and you do seem to get faster and more favourable responses from TNT. I wouldn't play without Premium now. I mean, $8 a month is nothing... Especially not if you play a lot - like me :/. It does just make things a lot slicker
